First upgrade requires 8 mavi seals: head/feet (didn't check legs, assuming it's the same), +1 requires 6 coins of voyage/cards of vision, +2 requires the same amount again.
Holy fuck. Fuck you SE for not allowing for storage of Homam.
To answer your question, Yea I only use Vertical Cleave with CA, CA for me is almost exclusive to Vertical Cleave in a typical /nin meleeing situation
Battery Charge
3mp/tick for 5 minutes as speculated.
I think we can infer all the shamshirs from ->
STR Shamshir (Trial 1945 300 bird-type on fireday) becomes Shamshir+1 D52 Dly 230 STR 8 Attack 18 Lv.85
Khanda OA-3 (Trial 1943 700 Vermin) becomes Khanda+1 D29 Dly 264 OA3 Lv.85
im so excited atm, lol wow at all the spells added. Goblin rush and final sting and whirl of rage..? Really didn't expect those.
Wow that's it? 300 birds on firesday. Easy
The only time I really see BLU's CA a disseverment is when they're making a distortion with Savage Blade. Since they're making a skillchain, they're not going to have a huge TP bonus for whatever they use CA with. This is what's attractive about a distortion skillchain on BLU, you're not losing a large portion of your damage by using CA without regard to your TP, since you're using disseverment. Not justifying this, but that seems to be what they're thinking.
Which is also why if they're just using CA on cooldown, they use disseverment since it does "sick damage, bro" compared to hysteric/frenetic. And with little to no TP bonus, with double the modifiers, it still should end up on top. At least without enchainment merits.
I'm not a fan of that method or train of thought myself, but I hope that answers your question to why people do it at all. I've recently been using vertical cleave waaaaay more than before, since the 80 update.
Not entirely certain, but Sanguine Blade seems to have received a not insubstantial increase to damage. No actual testing (will get around to it sometime later), but going through the numbers backwards, it makes sense. Probably won't get around to doing any actual tests for a few days yet, but will post results when I do.
55 set points 81+5/5 assimilation
Goblin rush looks promising... versus EP did slightly more than disseverment with no CA. Disseverment gear used
For those curious: 1100ish vs Sand Lizard no CA 1550 vs Sand Lizard with CA
After a couple of imps in khimara mire I'd say its comparable to the other big multi-hits. CA dosnt seem to do much to the dmg my max so far was 1000 dmg unstacked (disseverment gear) and 1100 dmg stacked (v.cleave gear)
Excited to see what kind of dmg this can do once the mods are discovered. It also has me wondering how nice the 4-hit spell will be if this is to be the lesser of the two
Goblin Rush can also close Light, Savage Blade -> Goblin Rush did Light, so I assume it fits in the same place as Cannonball. Still not sure what weapon damage type it is, but overall it's doing nice damage.
Definitely a substantial boost. Easily topped my old SB's by 200 damage in a mandy party I joined for some quick merits.
More set points obviously makes me a happy BLU, and that Empyrean gear is ridiculously hot. Here's hoping it's not a total bitch to get.
Still farming crests so can't test spells Q.Q
First impression of Final Sting is that it's quite possibly the most useless spell we have. Hoping further testing proves me wrong, but that will probably have to wait. Damage seems somewhat consistent (getting the same few numbers over and over), neither current HP nor max HP seems to have any noticable effect on damage (broken?), nor does the mob's HP. TP/casting gear didn't seem to affect damage either. Highest so far is 155. It also has an awfully long casting time.
Edit: 396, on someting significantly higher level... may depend on target's max HP, and it's just coincidence that the yagudo and mandragora I tested on have exactly the same max HP (or possibly, it works in tiers). Also seems to be able to 'resist'. Current HP does NOT seem to affect damage, just max HP... still needs more testing to say anything for certain, though.
Might have a certain MOD, did you try sneak attack too?
2289 on an EP bomb... much better. Guessing current HP affects chance of 'resist' (not exactly what it is, but it's fairly similar), and max damage is dependant on target's max HP.
