Yeah I have parsed some lol joke players and many elite ones and every rng that does crazy damage has multiple stuns, sleeps and healing spells while doing insane damage behind shadows >.>. Oh lets add with crappy gear yup yup that aint broke shit to any one..

No need to personal attack something that SE has done from the beginning of this game until now its just fact if QD stays its awesome if its nerfed or efflux is nerfed its just SE being SE period....

FYI I am a 80 Sam and thats not much at all lol I play that vs me and my Hagun with cor rolls and rotated bard songs but my epeen stays in my pants. I also have war 80 and Drk 80 and all capable of retarded numbers that get me killed and non of the hybrid power of a blu mage that's harder to kill....

But you not even close to melee in TP burn pt in pure dmg lol Its not liek you equal and you have stuns, healing on top of that. If you would just try to do dmg and wont waste time on stuns, healing etc. you would still be a way way behind melee with marches and rolls, If you would try just heal you would be worse then WHM etc. You cant do everything effectivly at once. You seems to not get that and i think you wont so Im done with arguing with you.

lol if you haven't already been doing great damage on Blu well thats pretty sad I still run high in all parsed events and get to bring my blu ass to whatever I want even with sam drk and war at 80 well geared I might add. Now with these spells and new ability even crappy blus will able to bring the pain easily. Its not hard to do damage on blu now just takes a fing retarded amount of gear and macros lol.

Melee jobs were doing similar numbers on certain mobs everytime they reached 100+tp. Why would they start with nerfing something only possible every 3 mins? And they nerfed the 2handers because they were putting out similar numbers like these on HNM! 3000+ WS on a pink bird is different then 3000+ dmg on a Wrym is my guess. But none the less, this doesnt over power blu, it just helps to close the gap some.

Like I said I hope not actually but I learn the hard way been nerfed so many times I can't count them anymore still pissed about tp return lol so if they don't cool my expectation is adjustments is coming. But I will enjoy the f out of em until that day.

Are frogs resistant or something to Sanguine Blade? I was only doing maybe 450 on them. It's not a great set, but here is what I use at the moment.

Frogs are notoriously resistant to magic.

Quadratic Continuum Is awsome, was doing buffalo for my magician trial and never hit under 800dmg never exceeded 1000 dmg, dont know how to figure out anything else and havent had a chance to use it in abyssea. Benthic Typhoon is the best spell of this update, puts everything ive seen to shame.

I was only getting about 600 SBs on Hippos working on Fantod. Though, I'm basically rocking a mix of Teal and Yigit since I don't have Morrigan's stuff (nor the stomach to deal with Salvage despite its seeming antiquation with this update). Just wish I wasn't out of town because I want to level and try out QC and such.

Don't go to wiki for damage formulas. Sanguine Blade is 30% STR, 50% MND secondary modifiers, primary mod is dINT with 2.0 multiplier, fTP of 2.75.

On an unrelated note, is anybody willing and able to help gather some data on Metallic Body? More specifically, I would like a few sub-300 skill (the lower the better) results. Either the previous formula is wrong, it changed after update, or it changes at a certain point. I have one that works well enough for all the values I have so far without being too clumsy, but I still have reason to doubt it. If you do help, please make note of both level and skill on casting.
