He was responding to Darkepyon's test, not your theory. Either way the test wasn't valid and it's a pretty good example of why this could be fairly annoying to test >_> pDIF can vary so wildly...

Did some limited testing on fantod, yes. Does not work on ranged spells, and while it didn't seem to have an effect on regular ones based on what testing I had time for, I can't say anything certain yet.

Solo, /rdm. Did some stupid things, next run would be better easily. Should have planned out spell sets for each floor first, and remembered that skele's link there. 2nd floor boss gave me no problem. Anyway, the zone is easily duoable.

And when you do, do a /crushesscouter emote. (it'll be easy to do, this was using 1 dex shamshir+1, pallas gloves, enkidu's pants, suppa, a few other things that could be improved on)

Was that just a normal or Effluxed QC? Or done with Chain Affinity? What was your average spell damage with that + Disseverment + Vanity Dive on the regular floor 1 and 2 mobs? Out of curiosity since after seeing that I'm interested in trying it myself

Just eyeballing but anyone notice the lightning magic acc from stormbird affects headbutt stun rate? I notice it a bit while soloing IT+ mobs in abyssea.

not sure if Final sting has been tested much yet but basically from what i've seen Max hp doesn't effect max damage or does tp from CA and Efflux my blue magic skill is 317 (with body)

I don't like those numbers for QC... it fits with the limited testing I've had time for so far on level -1 mobs, but I've seen it perform far better on higher level things than those numbers would reasonably allow.

But are STR and VIT mods for QC? We all know STR is, but is VIT another mod as well?

I can't say yet, insufficient testing on my part so far. All I know is that running those numbers through the standard equations, it is impossible to reach the numbers I have seen myself.

I read a theory that successive hits gain a damage multiplier, no idea if it's true though.

Just got a Mavi Tathlum, breath enhancement appears to be a 5% enhancement. Very nice piece :D

yurim quest requires a 100k item(lol), not much info on the orobon for blu legs, and no info on the BLU head quest in attohwa.

I'd be more inclined to believe the modifiers/fTP are incorrect, if anything. Wish I could see Gobli's testing, but I doubt that will happen... I'll see what I can find out myself, but it's probably going to take a while, if it happens at all.

With regards to relic head, minor nitpick; it's actually 205/2048 (and since you edited it out now, are you certain it's a straight 5%, not a fraction? If so, how does it interact with relic head?). Tathlum sounds very nice though, ammo was never a particularly strong equip slot for breaths, or physical spells for that matter, nice macro piece for those. Where does it drop, and any idea on drop rate?

Source isn't the most reliable as precision goes and I saw no data, just thought I'd throw it out there for discussion.

fff, it really is fractional then. Um... I'd have to go back and check if it's maybe 101 or 102/2048 then, I'll review and see if I can figure it out immediately.

Ironclad Executioner in Vunkerl, 100% along with DNC and PLD accessories. Kiteable (use atma of ambition), weak to water magic, 2-4 shadows on regular hits, enstun and enamnesia too (think stun on sword, amnesia on stomps). /RDM would probably work quite well, I was /NIN though.

EDIT: Can't say for sure, 101 certainly seems plausible though given 205/1024 on the head.

Mavi Leg seal also drops from the Flytrap NM in Mis.

The Mavi Tathlum drops from the Irgon Giant NM in Vunkerl, the NM has a random spawn location across the zone, the Clear Demure Abyssite will help you locate the pop location, and spawn him when you rest I believe.
