I'm trying to get LS interested in some Tuskertrap runs. Any idea about what he drops other than Mavi head seals?

You mean Mavi leg seals, right? He's in Misareaux (legs), not Attohwa (head).

Seems he drops SMN as well, per the Misareaux thread.

There's no way. With 300%/CA/2hr + Dia II and Frightful Roar on bats I was maxing out at 3,400 or so.
Even with atma, I just don't see it happening.

My highest was 3.7k on abyssea colibris.

Edit: Just got my AF3+1 hat, recast timer/duration timer did not change. Eyeballed the CA damage and it was a bit higher than normal.

Yeh, I meant legs but wrote head for some reason.

He must drop more than just BLU and SMN, but it looks like no one knows because to get the pop item you have to fight the flytraps who use Soporific and have some Paralyze TP move, and so they are annoying to fight.

I'd be willing to get a shout party together to do it, but I don't even know what I can offer people if I don't know the drops.

That being said, Tuskertrap doesn't seem that hard if you fight him on the bridge with mages on top and him below, but getting the crew together is my problem.

And the timed spawn bat that drops mavi leg seals seems to be constantly camped. Apparently everyone and their brother has decided to level BLU since the update.

So with the Quest basically being several months of work or several million in gil worth of drops(100K per spicule on my server), it looks like our AF3 legs are comfortably out of reach until at least the next update. Or an afternoon if I can get a Tuskertrap kill group together.

If it makes you feel better, the 20 or so stones i wasted in attohwa on toran-oran's dumbfuck quest more than made up for the ease of the sausage quest.

That tends to be par for the course for most of the seal quests I've done.

I mean, with the rate on Brutus's Attohwa quest, I don't even know if the 20 stones I have banked will be enough to get seals for a mavi head. I've done it 25 times so far and gotten two seals, and at 5 mins a run ten hours may not be enough but I take comfort in that most of the quest are that bad.

How useful are you find the DMG=>MP conversion these days, with the ridiculous amounts of refresh that can be obtained in Abyssea?

So what's the secret to getting more stones aside from the two abysite of celerity..? I see people with like 50+ stones and I have 2 to my name... ;/

I've got 64-65 stones, and that's due to having recently obtained both abyssites of celerity and rather limited play time due to obligations IRL. Many of my first dozen or so trips into Abyssea were on the same few stones, since they were largely exp parties where I'd end up carrying over 120 minutes until the next play time.

Getting all four abyssite of sojourn will give you more bang for your buck, too. Capping time at 120m with three stones instead of four should help quite a bit. That's my current goal.

If MP isn't an issue just swap to melee atmas.

I tried this not sure if it will work but I was at 80/80 inventory with just mavi head seals and spam chocobo quest. Got got 2 back to back out of 14 quests, the item auto sort into my inventory even at 80/80. Not sure if brutus can only give you mavi head seals when you do that or you can only receive mavi head seals.

Tuskrtrap also drops sylvan legs (ranger). Someones already got the strat listed we used last time.

Did Flown the Coop 75 times today in 8 hours of nonstop questing. Got 3 Aiod., 2 Creed, 4 mavi, and 7 Tantra.

Should take the average person between 75 and 300 times (or 8-32ish hours of questing) to get any particular head done.

Has Mavi Kavuk +1 been tested yet? I looked at the last few pages but have only seen mod testing on the new spells.

No changes in it's duration/recast time, did however notice damage went up a bit. Don't know if you still get the bonus if you remove the armor thou.

I would imagine so, but that's easily enough checked. My guess is that it adds bonus TP a la Enchainment, which would be easy to nail down with Queasyshroom. Would test, but I don't have it yet

How do you test stuff with Queasyshroom? I've read posts referring to it, but I never bothered since I don't typically do BLU spell tests (Though it would be nice to know for the future).

Edit: Guessing it has to do with the duration of poison?
