my 75 blu friend and i got brenner and tested all the spells.

dissenervment is 18 a tick poison
cold wave is 18 a tick frost but it wears fast
reactor cool was 14 a hit
plasma charge was 15 a hit
the molech def down move only took off 27 def

So about how much total is dissenervment draining off a person, and how much is the damage say blu/nin doing with that in ballista approx? I heard it does near asuran fists damage if all hits land.

i was on mnk/nin to test the slow proc on spells

i had about 250 defense, i wasnt the one writing down the info i was just listing it off for him haha.

the poison was brutal, i had 1700 in HP gear, 450 for diss then the poison duration was a decent amount. cold wave lasted like 20 sec's, but the diss poison lasted at least a minute. after a minute i chakrad due to limited time left and more spells to check out.

we did KS30 copycat and the poison from Diss lasted 2-3 minutes.

btw you can V. trunk counterstance =p

I was playing around and V.Trunk'd the Shadow Dragon's "Damage Spikes" move, a status that players cannot normally achieve.

It lasted about 10 seconds on me but w/e it was cool.

Blue is rather funny in ballista. I find myself killing 2-3 people by myself as blu/rdm. Most of the higher lvl moves(Fren rip, Disseverment, Cannonball, Vertical Cleave, Hys Barrage, Etc) do pretty nice damage. I did 300-600ish WITHOUT CA. With CA it does 500-600+.

Based on what you said before, that means it's probably an 11% defense debuff ability. Would be good to test it on a PLD, and then see if it stacks with DiaII. >.> 20-25% defense down would be pretty decent...

if thats so, then wouldn't that put Bluemages possible damage output over a monk in ballista?

I mean duh Monks hit fast, and hard, and have strong WS.

From looks of it a BLU could alternate between those moves and own anyone in a very short period of time. (faster than a Monk lol)

Ya mys, hence me saying I found myself killing 2-3 people at once. And with defensive food/ pha/ cocoon I take minium dmg (ie: 100-200 asuran fist). Blue is really sick in ballista.

on a side note, they need to seriously make it so you cant puss out and run away when youre going to die in ballista. its annoying to be about to kill someone and they take off, should make your run speed slower the lower your hp gets haha

afaik, stealing Counterstance won't give you counter, since counterstance increases the rate at which you counter meaning you need the normal trait to begin with, if anything you've just stolen an ability which gave you a very low defense

Depends on if Counterstance increases your counter stat by a set amount or a %. If it's the former, then possibly. If it's the later... well your fucked.

no, because counterstance is a modifier to the counter rate at sacrifice of defense, if theres no counter trait at all, you can't add upon it, same reason why suppa doesn't give you dual wield, it only gives haste(to put it simply) to a dual weilder (need nin/ or /nin and be dual weilding).

I'm talking martial anelace savage blade followed by Disservement for distortion skill chain for like 1.5k damage total. Good shit :D
