Looks like the third NM that drops Mavi seals is Kadraeth the Hatespawn, Soulflayer. Yeah.

What was your experience with the two you tried? I was thinking of trying some NMs, though all I got is BLU for it and not too much experience with kiting solos. Suppose I could ask a BLM friend, but I think most are pretty low on stones at the moment.

the quick fix, work on magian swords (str sword 2x) and just farm abyssea for AFIII+1
the long fix, work on magian swords (str swordx 2, +double att Khanda+1, OAT2-3 Khanda, OAT Antea, or either the Empyrean sword or Tizona and one of those) then farm abyssea for AFIII+2

Ideally , you're gonna want something like this your TP:
Magian sword x2 |some acc/att ammo|
AFIII head(or turban)|acc ( or sword skill or haste neck)|suppa/brutal|
Morrigan(orAFII/Nashiras/Taranis's)|Ocelots(or Homam)|acc/rajas
Cuch(or foragers or sharpeye)|Swift/other haste belt |AFIII (or homam or ocelots or aurore)|Homam (or dusk)

for spells:
Magian sword x2 | Mavi ammo (or str ammo)
Maats cap (or AFII)|Kubira Bead |Str Earrings
AF+1|Enkidu|str/rajas
Cuch|Warwolf|AFIII (or Enkidu)|Denali (or rutters or any other str boot)

(general idea for the most part is stack on haste for TP , and str for Spell, just like your average DD)

There are probably other better choices out there but this is a good place to start and things arent holy unreasonable.

Also have to throw away the old term "Big three, and go with the new term. What does your QC set up look like".

Are there any KS30s that a BLU would be able to solo at this point?

I mean, I think ODS should be doable, but I'd like to corroborate with some other people, or maybe see if there's a different KS with a higher profit margin to do.

Most of them are shit now ;/, O ingots are still 100% from cardian KSNM but they are only 100kish now. If you flashga them at start and zerg the BLM down and just bring the king to the side so the whm queen just stands there casting random crap I think it could be doable.

the blm queen has like no HP and can be killed with like 4 spells, enough for flash to run its course. Could possibly bind the queen with blastbomb/regur and kill down the king in that time, just be careful of his ws idk what they are like now but the bludgeon and 3 hit one can be damaging. Make sure to set exuviation for erase, depending on king the add effect is annoying (slow on the one I usually do)

But really the drops are pretty much crap now, 100k o ingot sucks, might just wanna save ks for 99 and not bother with 30's and just 5~6 man the 99's in hope of a speed belt. If you really wanna spend them on 30's I might say just do ODS and hope for serket ring for the 300k, or idk if theres another profitable ks30 at this point.

Great as QC is, it still has a recast timer, lol.

Would Alky's be a suitable substitute for Enkidu on spells? What about Justice Torque instead of Kubira? I think I have the ampoules for the latter but inv space is always at a premium.

Also, just to confirm, I want to focus on getting 2x Str magians first? What should I use in the meantime? Right now I'm using Beast Slayer/Perdu.

keep hearing that alky is fine as long as it doesnt mess with hit rate, but I never used alky's but I try to stay consistent in numbers and I'm an acc whore by nature

swords in the meantime I use firm +1 x 2 till i finish magian I'd recommend one 2 if you're feeling fine without the acc from perdu for spells

it was noticeable when i sold my frag and upgraded awhile back ; ; not horibble mind you but yeah

Alkys are definitely a good option as long as you don't need the accuracy from Enkidu's Mittens. Justice v Kubira is situational (probably Justice) but I'd consider Ire +1 at that point if you have some extra gil lying around.

Yes, STR Shamshirs are good. I'd even look at sticking with them for DDing given Abyssea mechanics. Look at Firmament x2 until your Shamshirs are upgraded.

Since no one posted, did Kharon, with two setups:

WAR/NIN + SCH/WHM: Can sneak pop it, ran out of range of blood aggro (near the nearby Martello), and basically straight tanked it. Doesn't para, Slow sticks fine, occasionally resists Dispel for Dread Spikes. Does lots of annoying crap that wipe shadows, always stayed out of range of Sleepga. Was really nasty, trouble keeping shadows up with just Haste/Slow, but was able to kill it, took around 45 minutes (would've been faster if I stuck more Luminohelix early on).

MNK/NIN + BRD/WHM + SCH/WHM: Probably could've done this with just MNK/NIN + BRD/WHM, or MNK/NIN + SCH/WHM, all three together was overkill with 2x March/Haste, Slow/Elegy, took about maybe 10 miuntes, barely had to cure at all, spent most of the time trying to trigger (and failing) yellow !!.

4 kills, no TH, no Mavi Seal: Head, 1x SMN, 2x RNG, 2 of the kills were no drops.

Wouldn't that depend on your atmas? I'm not informed on recent information, but if we can reach STR caps with our spells, I can imagine them capping out very quickly with the two STR atmas (Elvaan base STR + ~80 STR from gear/spells + 90 from atmas).

QC and BT don't have a DEX mod, but for Goblin Rush and Disseverment that would definitely be worth keeping in mind.

Few days ago I made a post about some guy said he did 6k QC on colibri. Most ppl here and me included called that bs. What I did today made me rethink it.

This spider was T-VT. It has no bonus from piercing like colibri. My equip is ok but very far from best, squid sushi too.
2hr, CA, efflux, 300TP, BT def down and dia III. I bolded TP becouse that is I think key to solve this mystery. My QC with 2hr topped on like 3500 on Colibri but Im 99% sure I was using 2hr with close to 0 TP. I always tho how much TP you have during CA 2hr is not important becouse 2hr set it at "350 TP" mark anyway. I need to retest it next time I will be in abyssea, but I think SE ninja broke our 2hr stack with TP now or simply Efflux made this TP and 2hr stack somehow. Btw I got more recovery chests after I did this 5500 and I did two more ~5500 on those spiders under same buffs.

Kharon is soloable. Went SCH/RDM, didn't Grav in the 2 tries I gave it, but definetly soloable. Had it at 60% after about 20 minutes using only Luminohelix (with Alacrity, or Alacrity and Ebullience), movement speed atma, MAB Atma (30 mab / 30 mab ice/light). If I had known it didn't grav, i would've gone /NIN, alot safer, and probably alow me to steal nukes. Movement speed atma was enough to keep ahead of him, had to self cure a few times, but no problem kiting around all the rocks in the area.

Also, 5 kills now, no 3x no drop, last one was with TH4.

atro what % did you cast at? since mobs only have so much hp these days maybe not all hits landed and it could have done more

Just did BT and then QC so it was on like 90% before QC. I think all 4 hits landed.
