theres also
262/1 = Delta Thrust
based on the names found in the dats for the files, I'm pretty sure your list is quite accurate..
as for 262/27, its listed with a name that reads zuu_win0. zuu i assume refers to Zuu, which traditionally in FF refer to the giant birds.. ie Roc.
seeing as theres a new roc model in game, the new roc might have new moves which could be the source of that last BLU magic spell in the list...
Wait, I have to win against one of those things? On BLU?!
Different note: How many of you guys have been experimenting with evasion soloing? For a while I've been able to solo plenty of things with regurgitation, cannonball, or standard physical spells if its not too dangerous. However, I've been soloing my way up the Almace VNM's and have found evasion tanking to be a handy way to deal with their enhanced movement speed over pinning.
Filamented Hold, Auroral Drape, Head Butt spam, and Actinic Burst have let me solo Capricornis and the Scorpion with just a few setbacks. My evasion set is pretty crappy with stuff laying around, but I would be curious to what level we could compete with nin/dnc when we get occulation as well.
Those are TII VNMs. TIII VNMs are only 5LVs higher. In other words, it's a waste of inventory.
On a nicer note, I've come up for a phrase for when people are trying to avoid Amph aggro: "Bird watching".
o lol.. that makes sense too..
never did pay attention to those dat names before.. good to know someone actually figured it out
Delta Thrust: Delivers a threefold attack on a single target. Additional effect: Plague.
Brain Spike: Stabs a single target in the head. Additional effect: Paralysis.
Charged Whisker: Deals Lightning damage in a radial area of effect.
These spells have potential.
If Amphipteres are going to be giving a spell then the new Abyssea zones will need to have multiples because that would be very odd if you could learn off NMs only. Beau/Xarc(S) Amphis are all NMs along with Zirnitra/Turul.
Perhaps they intend to turn Skyrend in Grauberg (A) into an area with normal Amphipteres in the sky. That'd be a sight.
I think it's going to be Feather Tickle +1.
Knockback aura = God mode
lol
I would change my name to Garland in that case.
Well the main reason why it'd be broken is because it would interrupt spell casting. If there are no checks for monsters for that though then the main use would be limited. Pushing the monster out of range of a TP move and slowing attacks (by pushing back > running > land 1 hit > push back > running > land 1 hit > etc) doesn't sound too game-breaking. That being said, I doubt it'll be given to us without being nerfed.
Part of me thinks it isn't Reaving Wind though:

Not the same at the end, but there are 4x 'pulses' of wind coming from the mouth in both. So if it really is Reaving Wind is looks more debuffy at the end. Perhaps it's just damage+massive knockback once.
Are you referring to the wavy circle that appears around the character in the second video? That will apply to the mob and is the effect that shows when it reduces your TP.
if it is reaving wind, i'd presume there going to do a blazing bound nerf AoE wind damage no effects only thing in common is its wind based~
.dats are pretty clear about it being an amphitere move.
