This is the .xml I've been working on. It's not fully polished yet (I have a single gear set for all physical blue magic at this point, but you can easily add sets and rules to reference them). It's got the major bases covered, but I'm still revising it on a daily basis.

If you're not /NIN and try to cast Utsusemi, it'll cast Occultation instead.
As-is, it'll use the generic 'physical' set for non-element (physical) spells, and a MACC set for any elemental (magical) Blue Magic that isn't targeting self, unless you define the spells otherwise.
Implementation of spell-specific sets and staff/obi rules is in the works. If you want to see it after that's finished, let me know.
It's a decent starting point, if nothing else.

What I use. I choose to keep staves out of spellcast simply because I prefer having direct control over when I switch out of my swords.
What are the mods on Delta thrust?? I couldnt find it with the search button, nor it is listed on wiki or blue mage hunting grounds =/
So far ive been using the same gear as Disseverment for it, but maybe it doesnt share the same modifiers...
What is a good rule for equipping elemental staffs? I know there are times when I want to keep swords on despite casting magic spells, so I'm unsure of how to go about this. One solution might be to make it such that certain spells get staff (Charged Whiskers), but that would mean I can never cast it if I'm TPing. I could make it work by sub, but there are times where I have to use it as sub NIN because I'm +2 farming.
You could just restrict your nukes to after you use up your TP then swap over to staves :3
This is something I'm working on now. You can set a TP threshhold if you want, below which the spell will be cast with the staff, and above which it won't. That's what I've got in my .xml at the moment. I was thinking of switching to using a variable, and referencing that variable for the casting, i.e., set the variable at 301, and it'll always use a staff, then switch it to 0 and it won't.
The only issue I've really had so far is figuring out how to get Spellcast to equip both weapons while dual-wielding after casting, due to the fact that the server has to acknowledge the main-hand being equipped before it'll accept an off-hand.

No, you can set variables by sending commands to spellcast.
For example, with a variable called StaffTP, one could type into the chatbox: //sc v s StaffTP "300"

They can be, cake NM. However Spikes is easily the killer, need to get rid of them asap.

Will replace the earrings for the +8 AGI pair. In all, it's a pretty cheap set to maintain with the AHables (minus the Rope). Torque, Boots, Staff, Cape have all dropped in price tremendously.
