Morrigan's outdoes Loki's for me.

The Enhances Burst Affinity is basically 5% more Dex on the +1 and 10% on the +2. So, the +2 is worth 20-30 dex, nowhere near 100-150.

Whoever wrote the +100/150 stat equivalence stuff is speaking nonsense, especially for CW. It doesn't even make sense because of the incredible variety of WSC% for spell.

RR Lion Ultimate. (which is the best atma combination that I found.) Enervation yes. Ascetics, not MeMo.

If you get better damage with Loki's by all means use it, I've just tried both, and Morrigan's wins (admittedly by a small margin.) I had a COR buffing me once, and with the extra MAB, I managed to get it up to tying, but it was never better.


As for how much stat the +2 feet are worth, it wouldn't matter on the WSC.

+2 are always worth 10% of your WSC stats, because the BA modifier multiplies the WSC term. (well, ok, technically 5%, because of the x2 in BA in the first place.)

I'll try that combo and see how it goes. I used pseudo-cruor buff and DEX stats to see which would theoretically give me more and found that RR wins in earlier zones due to lolbuffs, but that serious builds would favor blinding horn in dominion zones (Though I probably overvalued the DEX). The earlier comment still stands because in terms of static numbers, it will depend on the WSC (i.e. 5% of 20 is different from 5% of 100).

3 attempts, all HQ1. other 2 had 1 skill each, first 1 acc, 3rd 3 acc. Kept the 2 skill one, I can hit 419 skill now without neck. Damage tier hit?

From 417 > 419 is a damage tier. I'll have to look at the comparison of feet + helm + tathlum v Stat options, but the BaseDMG+2 I'm guessing will beat STR+6 for most 25%MOD spells.

Easily over a hundred attempts on those though I have been meaning to dump another set of trophies on it. Also with only 3 attempts and no HQ2/3's this also may not be as high as it goes. Had actually been hoping for them to come out as competition for alcide's for CDC...

Edit: oh and that's 100+ without even a single one with STR+6, 3 or 4 with +5, none at all with any blu skill regardless of other stats. Pretty much calling POIDH on blu skill on them.

2nd edit: of course, after posting that I get a pair with +2 blue magic...and +1 mab. No STR.

I'm still using a Chivalrous Chain for my TPing neck piece... What are some better options? Probably Fort. Torque or Peacock? I'm hoping this Rancor Collar does something nifty, and I'll switch to that.

Did they nerf the priority on cocoon? I seem to remember it overwriting almost all defense down effects, but since I've started playing again I don't think I've had it overwrite anything at all.

I don't recall Cocoon ever overwriting any defense down effect for PCs, maybe you're thinking of the mob version?

Cocoon definitely overwrote some effects. I recall using that tactic recently actually.

It still works on some things, but its priority was lowered (was at the very top) slightly. I recall several months ago getting DEF Down in Sea and not being able to overwrite it with cocoon. So, not mega-new fix, but within the past year yeah.

Fairly sure it never worked on Aegis Schism from Fomors. Massive 75% DEF drop. Was frustrating.

So I finally got my hands on a Loki's, and I'm wondering if I'll be able to put it to any use aside from Whisker. I have AF3+2 Body, and AF1+1 Body. Outside of CDC, Should I ever be TPing or WSing with this thing?

If you can generate 25-26% gear haste outside of the body slot and don't need the 2MP/tick refresh, it's a good TP piece.

If he has CDC/Almace he won't be casting much and can wear Zelus Tiara to almost cap without body assuming accuracy isn't an issue, and inside abyssea it's Decent for Vorpal for crit hit damage I believe?

Yeah, seems to me that 11 DEX, 11 AGI and increased critical damage is better for TP phase than a bit of accuracy. For just CDC spam, I'd do Zelus over Mavi Head +2 and Loki's on body.

Outside Abyssea, Mavi Body +2 will probably win out.
