    Dunno if it was said but seems Heavy strike gives double attack with empty thrash, so two points less than thrash + acrid stream.

    And, unlike Acrid Stream, Heavy Strike looks to actually be useful! Low cost, low casting time, low set points, medium damage. It's the next Delta Thrust!

    Heavy Strike is 2.0 fTP 50% str 50% chr apparently. Sudden Lunge is 1.0 fTP 50% STR 50% AGI, (~1.45 fTP @ 150, ~1.75 @ 300)

    Going to try to test Heavy Strike fTP vs TP.

    During my testing it went over the cap, and it was calculated after the PDT gear. As for Heavy Strike having a CHR mod, my testing isn't pointing toward it.

    The Heavy Strike Testing isn't mine, they said they were unsure of the CHR mod themselves.... Edit: it was apparently your testing <_<.

    Also, wtf, I have missed CA+ Efflux Heavy Strike 3 times in a row now.

    That more or less matches with my numbers then.

    That gives ~2.5 fTP @ 50, ~3 fTP @ 150 TP and ~4.0 fTP @ 300 TP.

    So 2.25->2.75->3.25->4.0->5.0 I think? (0, 100, 200, 300, Azure Lore).

    I have now managed to miss a CA Efflux *Azure Lore* Heavy Strike. Against a level 0 bee. I swear this spell has a lower accuracy ceiling.

    Myself. Will get documented proof when I can, but it's tricky since the reason people thought it didn't close SCs is 'cause something about the animation of Heavy Strike blocks out the SC as if you had changed gear, but if you look at the mob's HP you'll notice the spike in damage. It also closed light with Kasha and made Distortion with Fudo and Gekko.

    So if you have a WS with Light properties, does that mean a Frag OR Fusion WS can Close light off it? What about Transfixion, Liquification, Impaction, or Detonation? I think I understand how SCs are made in regards of regular WSs, but the lvl3 Properties still confuse the hell out of me.

    I think Light > Light will produce light, but not Light > TII Light (Trans/Fusion). Otherwise, CDC > GR would produce Light instead of fusion (Distortion > Fusion = Fusion).

    If it closed something off of CDC it would have to be either Light for a double Light, or Fusion, ending in a Fusion ws. So, since Distortion was made from opening for Fudo and Gekko, that implies that Frag is at least a part of it somewhere. If you wanted to be sure it was Frag, close a Rana with heavy strike- that would confirm a Frag property 100%.

    So, if its skillchaining with CDC, then that means it would either have to have a Light or a Fusion property. My bet is the spell is a Frag/Fusion spell personally.

    Edit: If CDC can open Darkness, then it could technically have a Grav property too x.x Stupid circular logic....

    If it were Fusion/Frag, then it would close Light from Savage Blade too. Now that we know that it cancels Animation, we can go back and test via Magic Bursts.

    Would love to test it more but I need someone willing to go beat things up with me that has Ukko's, Victory Smite or Calmann's Torment. If Heavy Strike can open light on any of those, then we're in pretty good shape. I am 99% sure that I made a skillchain off of CDC.

    Easiest way to to figure it out without the animation is to do the same SC 8 times and try to MB a spell of each element.

    That's a bit over kill. CDC can only open lvl 3 light (which would mean this is lvl 3 light) or fusion (meaning this is fusion) or lvl 3 darkness (which would make this gravitations). Though decent chance it has a 2nd element so don't rule fusion out yet because no light with savage blade. Some spells do weird priorities sometimes
