White Wind formula is floor(HP/7)*2, also augmented by cure potency. It's not the same as HP/3.5 before it's brought up.

I did a few tests on White wind, and What i came up with

HPReturn = f[(HP*.2856)*d/w bonus*cure potency]

It seems to fall under this rule every time.

f(4146hp *.2856) = 1184
f(4128*.2856) = 1178
f(1673*.2856) = 477(actual is 478 )

What is it at 4129 hp?

edit to answer: it would give 1179 as well as the formula of hp/7*2 which gives 1179 lol

ok now i see. hp/7 * 2 does indeed give the right amount of hp back, just did the tests again... My bad. ~28.56% returned each time though so i followed that instead of hp/7*2 ... and this was prior to reading someone else's information about the spell.

Well the main difference is where the rounding happens. The other formula floors before the *2 so you can't get an odd value without cure potency or day/weather

I was testing it prior to coming to BG to read what someone else found, and wanted to check my formula.. i dont think i did too bad finding the information, just a bit of rounding error lol Thank you for pointing out the rounding error though, it's nice to know that i can get very close to the actual formula

He says the DA rate from BLU has always been ~7% and that our TA rate will be 5% (the relationship someone here said after the DA and TA correlation were made was more confusing)? Is the stacking of old DA and the new spells to get TA giving us DA + TA or taking away our DA and giving us TA?

He said it was "closer to 7%" Setting 4 spells that are part of DA takes away DA and gives TA instead.

So question becomes, with AoA, Homam Body, and possibly TA%+ sword (upgrade from the DA% maybe), could it be more useful to go for a TA build on BLU as opposed to the current DA build for Almacing.

Homam is 1% isn't it? I don't really see it beating Loki's, correct me if I'm wrong. What TA gear are you even choosing between?

I'm confused on why anyone would go on to try and make a TA build, as if adding more would yeild greater results, when in fact you get diminishing returns.

IE, if a piece of eq. is not worth it now, it will be less worthwhile after setting TA trait.

Very nice, there isn't much for ammo slot in terms of AGI or evasion. Just the +2 sachet I think. The sword seems decent for offhand if you need the support.

Fenrir's Stone too but yeah, it's nice. Looking at that and the TP drain sword being nice for offhand situationally over STR shamshir, assuming the tp drain sword procs as often as it did in the vidya.
