Easy Thunderbolt target is Gudanna in behemoth dominion. Cost 300 tabs + 1k gil to pop + augmented item to pop it. Has extremely low amount of HP so keep that in mind.
Anyone else having an issue with Sudden Lunge? Everytime I go to cast it I keep getting a command error in game and it wont cast. Tried through macro and in menu.
RR,GH, capped dDEX, and base crit at 100TP already put you @90% crit chance in Abyssea. Adding TP bonus sword will make the base crit sitting at 200TP (+25%), so in other words, there's no way you score a non-crit on your WS.
Outside? Can't say much about it. I'm not gonna work on complex model
anybody confirm learning harden shell from tah turtles ?
Yeah, got from the mini turtles earlier.
Yeah just got Harden Shell from NQ turtles in abbysea.
EDIT: even without the collar still at 90%, and the only other thing to switch out would be GH.
Swapping to A/O doesn't seem to help so I'm not sure what else I could do for it.
Which is what you should be doing regardless given Heavy Strike, though you may want to give it a little acc gear vs Heroes NMs... sword skill's not capped yet but the acc penalty is noticeable even on Heroes EXP mobs. Might be capped hitrate now I'm 95 but at 92 I was definitely seeing uncapped hitrate.
I've found to be liking GH better than apoc when wielding Almace. Since your crit dmg already boosted by RR, why not enhancing the crit rate further? Moreover, I like the occasional misses and more frequent parry from trash mobs by gaining +50 AGI.
I think he's replying on CDC, not Heavy Strike
This is correct, they're at F-9 on the map after you drop down from the usual steelshell camp. Be warned, these are IT at 91, so don't take it lightly. If you get aggro from a new IT crawler or the thunder elemental that can spawn nearby you can die pretty easily. However, these do have the same trait of allowing you to feed them 100% TP instantly via using a spell of the same element as the day, it's very handy.
I knew it was bad but still can't believe they made it that bad...
No shit? RR/GH/Apoc and RR/SS/Apoc are virtually identical for melee damage, the main reason to choose GH is for Benthic Typhoon or maybe an eva build if you're into that. If you're jacking up your critrate with a TP Bonus offhand, the logical choice is to swap to SS and it has the accessory benefit of increasing Heavy Strike damage. Even without TP Bonus though, SS now replaces GH unless you're seeking GH's accessory benefits (TP feed reduction, evasion, counter) because Heavy Strike exists, is useful (potentially even spammable) in Abyssea, and benefits greatly from SS.
Could see the extra crit rate from offhand TP bonus sword being pretty good since we're gonna want to be using Sanguine Scythe at this point.
Especially with us rocking higher def and lower lvl correct factor penalty
