I got 2400 on dragon from earlier bird catches the worm, but being demon vs dragon it gets a slight bonus.
I'm Galka btw. The spell is very strong and usually gets about +10% above EG for me anyways.

dINT*2, 40% INT, 4.5fTP
It's a potent and efficient spell, second most efficient when you factor in range as well as MP:dmg. If range isn't an issue, Corrosive Ooze is superior.
What's your nuking set by the way Foldy? One of the sets I really need to work on and am having trouble finding upgrades for.
21.5 casting range? Thanks for pointing that. Now we have another useful single target spell.
Oh... nice stats on that guess I'll have to make a set for it.
Yeah and why aren't the stats on BG wiki!
It's on the Calculating Blue Magic Damage page, actually2.125 M 2.0 T 20% INT
Er so it is forgot it was a lower lvl spell... ok how come the lvl 76+ spells aren't on there!?! It's stats aren't that hot... just rather low mp cost for what it does

twilight/obi as appropriate, neck swapped out depending on moon phase.
That's MP:dmg cost effectiveness. It is the most MP efficient spell. Regurgitation is low as well and is our number one most efficient magical nuke for many reasons. Corrosive Ooze actually does more damage than Regurgitation does, unless Regurg is from behind the mob.
@Foldy ah so about the same as mine then. Only differences are I don't have a novio and I use romanus over potentia
I am leary over the potential -macc of addle.
My set is almost the same.
I have Maat's cap instead of teal and Morrigan's Slops
Anyone can check what is better here? Morri slops or teal? (Morri looks so much better ; ; ) I miss novio too ; ;
As for Romanus doesn't that make your recast longer also on top of -macc? That will definitely lower you dps if you for example spam regurgitation.
I was thinking about romanus only for sanguine not for spellcasting but you can enlighten me.
For a mob with 90 Int and no shell, magical resist:
For DO on my set, under BA, 1 MAB = 12.4 damage and 1 INT = 8.6 damage
So roughly 2INT=1MAB under BA, meaning that Morrigan > Teal
Not under BA, 1 MAB=9.5 damage, and 1 INT = 5.8
On this one its about dead even, a few points more or less on a mobs INT would push this one way or the other.
I only use Romanus for sanguine blade atm. Or you can use on a spell that you arent spamming and use only in conjunction with BA (ie timers on EG,DO) and arent concerned about macc.
Addle doesn't have any effect on recast time, unless I never noticed it.
He said recast time not cast time. Which would make him wait longer etc. Though I don't think it does
@ Ato
Of course you could make the same argument of finishing casting a spell in some haste/fastcast gear that does slightly less dmg than your full dmg peice in that slot so idk. But really as you can see posted above their are more mp efficient spells to begin with so if you are using that you should probably be using other stuff too so waiting on recast is lame. Blu isn't a 1 spell pony in terms of magic dmg anymore.
Some huge math errors here... assuming your dmg amounts are right (mostly because I don't want to take the time to look up your gear right now or figure out what mab you used) First morri is 10 int teal is 5 int and 3 mab... so basically it's 5 int vs 3 mab. If 1 MAB = 2int that would mean teal wins.
But 12.4/8.6 is no where near 2:1 ratio. It's a 1.44:1 ratio. So yes morri wins but not because of the way you explained and only by the smallest amounts.
Yeah, I edited the numbers after realizing an error, but failed to change the text. This helped in making it very confusing.
