SC Status: Bloodrake has no level 2 SC property, and I don't care enough about Bilgestorm to look for one on that.

Blood Greaves would get you 3 more (think AF2+2 feet had 3 skill if you're not looking to spam Synergy), but still 2 short :\ I'd wager we'll see more skill gear down the line but I was very disappointed when I realized that we might end up just short of 500 for a while.

Hmm... now you mentioned about Limule reflect ability. I guess I can use that to test Auroral Drape's blind, can't I?

It seems Auroral Drape + Barbed Crescent is a nice combo to solo NM (if the effects stack, that is). Fast cast on top of super blind sounds awesome.

BLU's already robust selection of EVA gear + Auroral Drape was potent enough for most content, now we can either expand upon that for harder things or drop some evasion in favor of haste gear or the like for the easier variety with an added -30 accuracy. Now all we need is Sigh or Mirage :D

Correct. Blind and Accuracy Down, that's what makes me so excited about Barbed Crescent. It's pretty bad ass. Between Crescent and the natural skill increase, it'll probably be possible for BLU to have almost as capable EVA as NIN or so without needing any or full EVA gear, which is rather welcome.

Scratch that, likely puts BLU at the top or second best overall ability to evade in the game.

I don't have a clear memory about this, but as much as I excited about those 2, I don't remember Auroral Drape have long enough duration sticking on decent-tough NM (I was using it on Khalamari on 90 cap). How does Barbed Crescent fare?
A -90 eva down is good enough to cover trait and gear (sand dual eva Kila) from THF.

Auroral Drape lasts a little over the recast time on most anything that you cast it on, unless that monster resists blind. Barbed Crescent lasts for 2 minutes or so.

Well if you assume -acc is equivalent to +eva nin still wins if /thf or /dnc. And thf still wins with no buffs/debuffs lol. At least with lvl 95 caps. dnc and pup are pretty high up there but without debuffs/buffs wont be as good. Can you force your auto to blind a mob?

nin- 389 skill + 22 evasion bonus + 30 from Kurayami: Ni = 441 (no clue on how much yonin gives so didn't bother but it does help)
blu- 340 skill +10 evasion bonus (has there been testing to determine if it's as strong as normal since we keep finding blu traits are actually weaker?) + 30 from cresent +60 from drape = 440
thf - 396 skill +60 evasion bonus = 456.

Evasion skill contributes virtually zero to your total evasion; Unless there's a better explanation to evasion skill since this testing were conducted.

Yeah, I know what you're referring; that's hot. Hopefully, they both land on worthy NMs for some amazing tank situations.
