Botulus will obviously give you some problems. Kalasutrax depends on your stunners/procs, Ig-Alima randomly becomes fuckface status.
I'll assume that I'm reading this wrong and you're not implying that BLU cannot provide adequate physical damage with its swords.
Actually I beleive he's implying that swd dmg is the only physical dmg that blu can do well on alot of them. As in normal physical damage is crap
Harpy is weak to piercing obviously so you might actually be able to pull out some nice numbers with QC and AS. Was able to hit over 4k with last stand.
Gaunab's defense is nothing special so melee should work fine.
I've been doing some tests with Tizona 95 on the test server. Here's what I've found:
-The proc rate on the damage>MP conversion is approximately 25% at 95 (441 procs in 1771 attacks). Given an estimated 10% procrate at 75, I'm guessing that all succeeding tiers of damage>MP conversion are +5% each. If this is the case, 99 Tizona should have a 30% procrate. I'll verify this once it becomes available on the test server.
-The amount recovered is 10-20% of your damage on that hit. The distribution appears to be more or less even across the entire range, giving an average of 15% of damage dealt converted. In practice, your result will be slightly less than that (mine was 14.6%) due to flooring. As such, you can expect the MP recovery to correspond to slightly less than 3.75% of your total white damage with Tizona. On a side note, I have no idea why they didn't add a log message for the MP recovery.
-Damage>MP can proc multiple times per round and on zanshin attacks, but not on counterattacks.
On a more general note, AM3 can only proc once on WS as I've mentioned elsewhere. I'm assuming it can only proc off the main hit but didn't formally test that.
Here, physical damage isn't strictly limit to physical damage or sword damage. I don't see it's technically incorrect to use 'physical damage", a more general term to 'sword damage", in this context...are the only 3 I know I have problem with not being able to do physical damage well.
The point is I can do good damage with zerk'd CDC, which is a physical damage.
If it's a necessity stating "physical damage" to cover everything physical available to BLU, then I must also claim that I can do good damage with Fast Blade and Bludgeon, which is ridiculous.
idk 700 damage fast blades are pretty baller, can do up to 1600 on Celaeno
lol no. no 1600 fast blades
RDM averages 1600 Fast Blades easily, step up your game!
I was just trying to match that incredible 6.6k Ukko's I saw today, so was spamming my best WS :c
Tried the RQT, might as well cross-post here:
When dealing with the merited WSes (specifically Requiescat for BLU while I work on a CDC sword), is it better to go full mods, in this case MND, or work in a mix of str, or is there a ratio of mnd to str or attack that I should use when evaluating a piece of gear? Stuff like the +10 mnd of morri feet seem like a no-brainer, but I'm curious about things like Atheling vs. a MND backpiece (I think the highest you can get is +6). Also, MND ring or epona's?
Thanks!
It's better to just use vorpal blade or even Sanguine stacked with INT![]()
Requiescat is worthless. Even for its one possible use, Pil's shield, it can't pull down said shield in one weaponskill, in fact, often I get less damage than one Fire Shot from the CORs.
wow, ok. I'm just kind of lost when it comes to skillchain stuff on BLU (It's mostly Savage Blade > QC for me), and heard it was good for chaining.
Since you brought up VW, what atmacites should I be using for BLU? I've already built up the Save TP one, but I'm back from a four month break, so both VW and BLU are relatively new (and very enjoyable) to me, but I've got a lot to catch up on.. I hope y'all will forgive the lots of questions.
thanks!
Yeah Savage -> QC vs. Requiescat -> Amorphic isn't really a contest.
Depends. Melee is the usual Coercion+Discipline, magic Destruction+Shrewd. If you don't have Shrewd, Mysticism works.
