Yeah I've never got a COR or BRD as I'm usually stuck in the proc party, so I only have my own devices to work with. ;(

This is pretty much the bane of my entire VW existance. I'm not a meathead with a giant axe so I don't deserve buffs. ¬¬ It feels as if things are cascading in a "lolmeleeblu" direction. I'unno maybe it's just me but everytime I'm told I'm not supposed to do anything other than proc I just wanna reach through the screen and punch people.

BLU got more relevant triple attack gear (and even a trait) than WAR >.> I can see some spike from our CDC could be really potent when received proper buff.

Yeah, which is why I like to make my own parties for shit I need, I know how to make them. Being stuck in a BLM party when a gimp galka thief and a WAR with a -pdt axe are in a COR party just urks me.

The gloves seem decent for eva/SB build, and there's no downside to an extra 10s on 2hr (unless you have to keep them equipped or something?)

Head is the only truly acceptable piece atm, though yeah the hands can be somewhat useful, though not for Sanguine Blade.

As for BLU in Voidwatch not being taken seriously as a DD: Going to go with the assertion that was posted a page or two back, the lolBLU stigma is still alive and well despite the job evolving and coming leaps and bounds ahead of where it was at 75. It's a pity for a lot of people, luckily my LS doesn't seem to cater to that particular rationale. I'm simply in the proc party because we have more DDs than can fit in the DD party who would, let's face it, benefit more from the COR buffs. I can still crank out CDCs plenty rapidly without Miser's Roll, but I do get sad panda :c

As a free option, it's not bad if you need the accuracy. You might as well use Alcide's harness +1 though (if you've got the gil and need the accuracy), which has one extra str and slightly less acc, plus it increases critical hit damage.

With that said, I always just use AF+1.

Personally I use the relic body +2 for tping in dynamis. If I was doing VW on BLU, I'd probably be using something more melee oriented.

As far as AF3+2 goes, I think the body will be a decent option when Denali+5 comes out.

I'd guess so, yes. But still, like I said, eclipsed by other pieces of gear. In this case, it's eclipsed by Toci's Harness

Doesn't cost any currency to upgrade, and I personally can't sell forgotten items for anything substantial, so it's free as far as I'm concerned. Certainly "more free" than alcide's body +1. But like I said, I don't use either.

Once the novelty wears of there is a significant chance that the Forgotten Item market will crash. Then again, some geodes are still fairly expensive, so my philosophy is to get that money now and upgrade stuff later.

Yes it's worth it, 'tis a difference between having an optimal weaponskill set and having a body piece to wear in town and cast a spell or two in sometimes. Cuch remains the optimal belt for CDC.
