What is the difference in result between 6 str and 10 atk outside of aby thou?
What is the difference in result between 6 str and 10 atk outside of aby thou?
Not a massive difference, comes down to personal priority I guess. I cherish my CDC set. Prefer Warwolf+Cuchulain's. Lose 1STR 1DEX on STR/DEX spells, gain 5VIT on STR+VIT spells.
I use both warwolf and pipalaka at the moment, but I had to pick up the latter for pup anyway, since it can't wear anything else really, but I'm still working on almace. I'll probably get cuch anyway, but inv -1 for extremely marginal upgrades that only apply to one job, or even one spell/ws is becoming an issue for me. I'm already @6 belts in inventory for blu lol, 7 if I'm /mage with siegal sash.
Or you can do this

And no I don't know what pants do either >.<
Man I must have the worst VW luck ever, I'm 0/200 on Pil or around there and haven't even had a chance to do the others... let alone try for new af2+2 -_-
Just for the sake of humoring me (moreso cause I'd like some picture evidence to prove something) could you take screenshots of your spell points with and without the pants on to show that there's no increase to the # of spell points acquired? I know it's been said that it doesn't add any, but I'd like some screenshots to basically put that idea to rest.
Yeah its so ridiculous yet I see so many people getting these items, it's just wtf.
1/9 on Toci's >.>
1/12 Athos Boots
1/1 Rubeus Jacket
1/4 Stoicheon Medal
1/30+ Lux Pugio
1/3 Supernal Knife
1/1 Strendu Ring
My luck is great except where it counts. >_>
Consider these pieces:
Ocelomeh Head
Aias Bonnet
Toci's Harness
Athos's Tabard
Athos's Gloves
Alcide Mitts+1
Athos's Tights
Tumbler Trunks
Kacura Leggings +1
Athos's Boots
Say if I got all of them, which set should I put for CDC?
I'm considering whether I should bother with Tabard and tights at all.
Denali hands, legs, and feet +5 are alluring enough that I should just ignore Athos's boots.
What is this Denali +5 stuff being mentioned around here? Is it a new Magian trial coming when the new Nyzul hits? If so what are the stats?
Taken from here:

There are +1~+4 too, but I don't bother copy pasting them all here.Code:Denali Bonnet+5 Def34 STR+6 AGI+14 Ratk+6 Macc+6 MAB+6 Crit hit rate+4% Set: Occasionally deals severe damage Denali Jacket+5 Def63 Acc+12 Haste+4% Double Attack+3% Triple Attack+3% Quadruple Attack+3% Set: Occasionally deals severe damage Denali Wristbands+5 Def28 DEX+8 VIT+8 AGI+8 Acc+10 Eva+10 Enhances Fast Cast(+4) Haste+4% Set: Occasionally deals severe damage Denali Kecks+5 Def47 HP+35 STR+9 AGI+9 Atk+14 Eva+14 Haste+6% Set: Occasionally deals severe damage Denali Gamashes+5 Def26 DEX+10 AGI+10 MND+10 Atk+16 Ratk+10 Double Attack+3% Set: Occasionally deals severe damage
Tabard and Tights give +9% Crit Damage Bonus and some amount of Crit Rate when paired, why you wouldn't use 4/5 Athos is completely beyond me. I'd probably also go with Kacura +1 head...
I beleive on that denali set the head and legs are reversed
Current best CDC set should be
Almace/Shikargar/X/Thunder Sachet
Ocelomen Headpiece +1/Rancor Collar/Moonshade Earring/Brutal Earring
Athos's Tabard/Athos's Gloves/Rajas Ring/Epona's Ring
Atheling Mantle/Cuchulain's Belt/Athos's Tights/Athos's Boots
With the possibility of changing Rancor to moepapa and atheling to rancor.
Tabard is a great eva/BT piece regardless. Legs are possibly less attractive if you're looking forward to Denali +5 but still good for TP and WS in the meantime.
I've got a couple theories for the Assimilation enhancement that I might test in the next week or so, what do we currently know they don't do?
No, they're still backwards.
