    Well, okay! As long as the data gets out there somehow!

    I'm doing kind of the same thing for the other types of Spells. Remaking them with a new template and trying to fill in some of the holes in our mechanics knowledge for them. Mougu's work has been awesome for that.

    Does she have solid data on the 25% att, I tested this years ago with no +attack (they could have ninja'ed it in at some point). This would make it very usable again.

    Also on this one, I got no +att when casted normally, but certainly did get some +att duing CA (again this was years ago)

    I do. Disseverment most certainly has the attack bonus attached to it, Death Scissors is not 100% certain however neither of us care to go back and test low level spells again. It's a relative amount of certainty to it actually having the attack boost, however, or else I wouldn't have mentioned it.

    While it's quite possible that Death Scissors does not, I included all of the information that we had.

    Was doing some magian trials on lizards and thought I'd parse out Diss. vs other spells since I had a fair amount to do. After plugging in ftp,mods,Dvalue,capped fstr (abyssea), I'm confident that Disseverment does not have an attack bonus and wouldn't mind doing some collaberative work (same mob/level/stats ect) if need be.

    The mobs were all dc or lower, and I was less concerned about getting exacting measurements and just wanted an overall impression knowing that if it got a 25% bonus that ratio would be capped or close. I did roughly 40-50 of each spell, making sure not to finish with a multi-hit spell (which would scew data with potential hits that were left off). There was no possibilty of set bonus (only legs eq) and CA/EFFLUX was never used.

    Avg Ratio results:

    QC = 2.02 (has known attack bonus)
    AS = 1.88
    GR = 1.98
    ET = 2.03 (I thought this was interested and had never tested before,appear to get some attack bonus)
    WOR = 1.48
    DT = 1.47
    Diss = 1.45 (This is way to low to have had any attack bonus and very in-line with DT and WOR which have no attack bonus)

    I realize that its a small sample with some varience in level, but I am fairly certain that Diss. gets no attack bonus.

    Can't do anything for a little while myself, for now it would probably just be best to abscond any sort of Attack Bonus from wiki pages etc., when I get some free time to do that sort of testing I'd be happy to collaborate tho.

    Just looking at the data point assumed (No data, but I assume your test is using LV99) and Calculating BLU magic page information (Assumed to be LV75), Cold Wave's DOT appears to be [LV/5]+3. Need more data points to confirm though.
