Can't you get like 5% cure pot on Genbu's coupled with the 13% on Sanus Ensis?

So you'd basically lose 8% cure pot for 40 HP? I can't imagine that being better.

(You could also get HP+ on Genbu's Shield too)

Sanus Ensis + genbus would probalby beat that (especially on yourself lol) damn beaten. Also add cure pot is the HQ aug and hp is the common for genbu so getting both not too unlikely

If you cap pdt in other slots would this beat an evasion sword for whisker pulling? Only thing I can think of really.

You're saying you have those items except you don't have the bonnet/neck/mitts? Probably AF3+2 hat, Rancor Collar, Thaumas gloves. Which is my set except I did get the Nomnom mitts.

It depends, pretty situational... Look at http://www.bluegartr.com/threads/687...critical-hits/ for the crit rate you'd get. Best case scenario is your DEX is 37 more than mob's AGI, so adding 13 DEX adds 10% crit rate. But it can also be as little as 1% crit rate or 0 if you're too low or already 50 DEX over mob's AGI.

I'd need to make up another point of haste elsewhere to be at 26% Unless the 8STR makes up for the percent of lost haste?

Need 6% haste in head to cap haste in that build, could go athos hat+ boots instead of af3+2/oce+1/khepri (with 6% haste augment) and thaumas boots. Same haste, gain 3% crit rate, lose 3% double attack and 14 atk on boots and stats from hat. Lose some DEX from boots as well, variable amount depending on whether you have nomkahpa or using thaumas gloves. Net gain of 5 str on head (using nomkhapa, 3 if using thaumas gloves). Can't really see that winning.

Would keep the boots. It's 2fSTR + 4ATT v 0.5ish haste (dDEX dependent) for Ocelomeh. 2fSTR v 3ATT 0.5 Haste for AF3+2. Would be so minor that you would want to use whatever is most inventory convenient either way.

Have been gone for about 6 months, thinking about coming back. If I really enjoy the +2 refresh from either AF3+2 body or Relic+2 what then becomes the best option for that senario?

Optimal TP Set

If for some reason the 2 Refresh is worth losing a decent amount of melee performance for you, I'd probably just switch Thaumas body for Mavi+2 and Khepri head for Oce +1 to maintain capped haste.

What's the optimal WS set for both Abyssea, and in Voidwatch? I'm having a rough time trying to balance thaumas with athos in addition to the usual stuff.

Chant du Cygne - Athos Legs in place of Khepri Kecks, Athos Gloves on active days (water, ice, light)

Requiescat - Teal Chapeau or Maat's Cap in place of Magavan Beret, Mavi +2 in place of Khepri wristbands

Sanguine Blade - Praeco doublet in place of Spurrina


Stuff after the set is only if you don't have access to those harder to get pieces, otherwise ignore.
