While they're at it they can remove the immense resistance that all NMs have to breath damage. As if the cost in MP and time casting isn't enough.
Yeah wth, they didnt all used to be like that. Heat breath vs Proto-Omega was pretty common. Frost breath vs Acamoth too. So they made 2 breath spells last time we got some.......why? Why do you do this SE?
After seeing 6x Hall of Mul parses on a DRG and seeing Wyverns dealing an average of 20 on breath attacks after each WS I would they'd remove breath reduction. It's something BLU and DRG kind of rely on for consistent damage. It's not really that exploitable and whatever exploit BLU could use to get consistent damage(like what 1800 at best or so with Thunder Breath?) assuming it was never resisted is NOTHING compared to 5 seconds of what a Rag DRK pulls out fully buffed; and Thunder Breath's recast is like 1.5min or something and uses like 1/4th of our MP.
Funny part is they still felt the need to nerf thunder breath lol
Would be hot if they made White Wind be affected by breath potency gear, might make it a bit too strong though for its MP cost. Even outside of abyssea you can still get a good 600-700 AoE out of it for it's low ass MP. Inside Abyssea it's fucking retarded AoE 3kish cure with the right build.

My CDC's on BLU outside of abyssea are surprisingly lackluster, better than, say, Requis or something, but barely hitting 2kish in stuff like Salvage. Anywhere I can improve?

Yeah, it's only real place I can see for improvement, still torn on what to use my moonshade on though. Second best earring barring moonshade? Jupiter's pearl?
To be the honest, the Japanese system uses Blue Magic (Physical System) attack +2. The term for attack is the same used for Stalwarts too.
Does TP Moonshade make a notable difference at 100% TP for CDC? Been considering redoing mine (it's idle refresh for my 4 mage jobs atm) with how much I'm using my BLU nowadays, even though it's the only DD job I actually bring out more than once a month.
Am about a couple weeks of 2box grinding away from replacing my WoE Sword with a lvl85 Almace, so I wouldn't mind maximizing output a little.
It wont be omfg huge difference but not much is in earrings. But a little att and 2-3 more crit rate isn't too shabby

Nightfyre says ~25 attack. Personally, I think the actual effect is +10 attack and that "BLU Attack" is different from the normal attack used for pDIF. That's assuming BLU pDIF acts the way we think though.

For CdC set : wanion belt (str+8 dex+8) or cuchulain belt (dex+6 attack +10)
For amorphic spike set : potentia cap (str+6 int+6) or zaffre cap (str+3 dex+3 blu magic+3)
and amorphic spike + chain affinity set : kakura feet +1 (str+6 dex+6) or blood greaves augmented ( dex+4, blu magic +3 and skillchain dmg+3%)
