Chausable can fuck off, mittens can fuck off, torque is ok, cap is good for TP and should be best in slot for physical spells in most cases, legs are undisputably sexy for Sanguine Blade and magical spells, mantle good for TPing on harder VW stuff
So effectively we got a pair of pants that will see minimal use, 2~3% more FC on our neck, and a new TP and physical spell hat. woopdeedoo. thanks for fixing my spells SE.
STR+3 DEX+2 ammo! >_>
But yeah, a lot of those are niche at best. The body is our best/only enhancing option, the curepot hands are nice but inv-1, pebble is inv-1 for a very small upgrade on CA QC, etc. Head only makes the list because Khepri is such a bitch to get. Very underwhelming.
edit: nevermind, derp
Hence them being inv-1, though last I checked Mavi+2 with Thaumas or (lol) Morrigan's outperformed Serp set. Either way, it would add to your inventory rather than completely replacing something.
These 2 look decent for haste/eva set:
10443: Bendis's Hairpin Rare Exclusive
Head
HP-40 DEX+10 AGI+10 Evasion+8
Haste+6%
Lv99 All Jobs
10841: Panthalassa Sash Rare
Waist
DEF:8 Attack+4 Evasion+10 Haste+5%
Lv99 MNK THF RNG NIN BLU COR DNC
Also taking into consideration the time it'd take to even get one of these pieces... lol
If you have Khepri then the head's a nice alternative to Ocelomeh +1 (wouldn't bother otherwise), but I'm not sure which I'd take between that belt and Phasmida.
EDIT: scratch the head commentary, forgot you need a fairly specific config to replace Oce/Toci's for CDC.
Those hands actually lose to Mavi for cures. In an ideal cure set:
With Swords: 697 mavi, 678 potency hands
Without Swords: 586 mavi, 574 potency hands
They don't start winning until you introduce skill from Light Arts
I'm getting different results than you, what set are you using?
Is there an accurate cure calculator somewhere? This one: http://members.shaw.ca/pizza_steve/c...alculator.html
is broken. It says my magic fruit will heal for 361 with mnd/cure potency set and no healing skill, which is obviously not right. It also has healing skill decreasing the potency of pollen somehow, lol...
Looks like he applied the cure adjustments to BLU spells, I'll shoot him an email and see about fixing that. http://members.shaw.ca/pizza_steve/c...or_old_v2.html should work, or you can just grab the formula from BGwiki.
Sanus Ensis*/Galenus*/X/Aqua Sachet
Anwig Salade**/Phalaina Locket/Loquacious Earring/Gifted Earring
Chelona Blazer +1/Hands***/Aquasoul Ring/Aquasoul Ring
Tempered Cape/Cascade Belt/Desultor's Tassets**/Thaumas Nails
* = If/if not
** = Anwig has MND+6 Cure Potency+3%, Desultors have Cure Potency +5%
*** = Cure potency or Mavi +2
Using arbitrary base MND and VIT of 78 and 80 and missing Magavan pants I guess
Possible my cure calculator has an error in it somewhere, but I don't think it does. Also didn't add in a feature for cure potency on self for the ensis yet, which I should do.
Since I'm a BLU I'm tight about the additional effect shit not going live, but as a DRG I'm happy they didn't go live(since Ageha is as potent as a fully meritted 5/5 angon with augmented af2 hands and has double the duration and doesn't cost 250g/use) and SAM has enough fucking tools already.
Slot by slot:
Sanus Ensis - O
Galenus - O
Anwig - Mine has MND+4 (FC+3 for second augment), shouldn't affect the answer
Phalaina - O
Earrings - Using 2x Neptune's
Chelona +1 - O
2x Aquasoul - Asklepian Ring beats a second Aquasoul for the purpose of self-curing, but can run for both
Tempered Cape - I wear the other 4% back, but it doesn't matter since the 4 healing skill is insufficient to increase power for non-mage subs
Cascade - O
Desultor's - Magavan are superior
Thaumas - O
Running it through Furen's calculator:
Using your proposed base stats, your set with no swords: 131 MND 68 VIT 22 curepot 4 curepot received = 577 Mavi vs 580 Hieros
With swords: 144 MND 68 VIT 45 curepot 17 curepot received = 804 Mavi vs 807 Hieros
My set, no swords: 145 MND 68 VIT 21 curepot 4 curepot received = 598 Mavi vs 603 Hieros
With swords: 158 MND 68 VIT 44 curepot 17 curepot received = 828 Mavi vs 837 Hieros
Asklepian Ring no swords: 602 vs 607
With swords: 837 vs 840
A quick check against my current gear/stats gave the correct result.
Either way the difference is incredibly marginal so it's not really worth obtaining, at least for BLU. Switching to Hieros is roughly equivalent to adding 5 MND in most of those cases.
SE is understaffed atm. It was between fixing these spells or changing the ancient beastcoin icon. With all the throngs of people flocking to Limbus these days, it was an easy choice for them. Better luck next time, however I think they may add another background color choice next update that may take precedence.
Unless the numbers on BGWiki are vastly inaccurate, I'm not sure what's wrong with my calculator compared to that other guy's. Unsure of which one is inaccurate. Possibly crossed wires somewhere
He's the guy behind a shitton of the original cure data (BLU included), so the tables on BGwiki should match his results since they're derived from his testing (aside from the post-adjustment formulas). I'm getting discrepancies using the BGwiki tables though... I'm inclined to trust the numbers from his calculator since they've always lined up with testing, so my first guess would be that I'm missing some detail in going over the BGwiki page.
Whatever my error is seems to be different than yours though, I'm getting completely different results.
fuck cures and fuck SE for making them more complicated than necessary
!
If you do figure out what the difference is, be sure to post so we can fix/brag about that.
