best way to learn bloodrake? and if someone suggests Wurdalak in boust go die, because I just tried there for 3 hours and all they do is Eternal Damnation, Helliovoid and nosferatu kiss.

There's level 80ish ones in castle Zvahl keep (S) in the hidden rooms were you port up on the way to the throne room, but they have a really long repop time and they also link with the bats in the same room. Vampyr's don't use bloodrake sub 50% HP afaik. I'm pretty sure I read that is this thread actually. So best bet is to feed a ton of TP with like dia or something till they use it and hope for the best. Took me several tries in bost to learn it. Considering their repop they seem like your best option. Sorry =/

They definitely use bloodrake, that's where I learned it.

Yeah they can use it higher but it seems really skewed towards using lower hp (makes sense that considering it recovers hp) but yeah still takes awhile. Think me and a friend spent about an hour or 2 just spamming dia at low hp to learn for both of us lol

ok that explains why I never saw bloodrake at 25%<HP feeding it with a roundsey want tp. the only 3 moves they do below that was kiss, void and doom. guess I need to start feeding them right at 100% TP.

after 3 hours of constant feeding it below 25% HP i can assure you they dont use bloodrake below 25% at least.

EDIT: nvm you actually are saying the exact same oposite as me. they never used bloodrake for me for 3 hours at below 25% HP.

Ouch 3 hrs that's how blu goes but yeah we had full alliance of blus learn the spell from them I myself have 2 toons learn it from those suckers a pain in the ass to be sure....

I often kill Oupire otw to Salvage and he seems to use blood rake pretty often

I tried by keeping Wurdalak at 10% HP and he never used it... for hours. Just bring him down to 90% HP and tank it backwards, let him get TP. He will use Bloodrake and the Wings move more often. I did that and it was the first TP he used, and I learnt it after he died.

just did this (not learned yet) but basicly fluffed him with a roundsey wand at 100%, first TP move he used was bloodrake. Can definitly assure now that they WONT use Bloodrake below 25%, EVER. Something new learned!

When i did this quite some time ago I remember the four BLUs backwards tanking it and spamming dia starting at 100% and it went pretty quickly. I want to say all 4 of us got it in under 2 hours. The trouble wasnt getting them to use the move, it was waiting on the respawn since there are only a few mobs with a long timer. Spamming dia at 100% is totally the way to go.

Probably not. Either or would just be a tide over til Khepri, but don't particularly want to waste 2 inventory slots.

Sorta depends on for what too. And rest of your set/merits. For ws myrmex. If it's a non agi modded spell and you don't need the acc and the skill is breaking you a tier then fea's. If it's a str modded ws depends on how strongly modded but about the same. Otherwise myrmex

Either CDC, Or general Physical Blue Magic. Trying to save as much inventory as I can. Looking like Myrmex are the best all around option though.

Yeah, if you have a low damage weapon like that it works perfectly too, I don't think any of the BLUs I went with did at the time though.

Same thing happened to me when doing PUG windy climb, was a very nice surprise.
