Is Chatoyant Staff better for CW than HQ elemental Staff?
Is Chatoyant Staff better for CW than HQ elemental Staff?
Of course.
TY.
So I know this is probably somewhere out of the internets but I cant seem to find it:
Updated BLU equipment list
Updated BLU Macros for windowed
Please help!!
Been to FFXIAH at all? Our own Prothescar did a nice little write-up on that subject.
Ah, no I haven't! Thanks for the link!
so I was fighting latly yaguarogui (RDM body seal tiger) on BLU, i know that it has fairly high Magic defense, so normal nukes do shit dmg on blm. Yet on BLU everyones grudge did 1.3k dmg~ without MB and with DD atmas set (RR, minikin monstrosity and siren shadow (was tanking it myself)). Does everyones grudge have some propertys like quickdraw that lets it go past MDB bonuses or so? Because I was very surprised to nuke harder on my BLU then my BLM-mule on this (both without doing MBs).
That's a light based tiger, so I imagine he has some sort of ER/SDT to every element but dark.
about blu cure spell set, I still don't know which one the best :
sirona's ring : mnd +3 vit +3 healing magic skill + 10
or
aquasoul ring : mnd +7
Tiger is weak to dark spells is all.
4 mnd should be slightly better for magic fruit than 10 healing skill. 7mnd ring is also good for requiescat, magic hammer, etc.
EDIT: With the vit they should be about even, but the aquasoul serves more purposes.
For cures. 5skill = 1 mnd = 3 vit. So basically sirona is exactly as good as a 6 mnd ring
Edit: Note that's old cure formula which doesn't apply to normal single target cures anymore where skill is worth a tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooon more. Which I think actually knocked blu cures down from being efficiency kings. So might be better if you /rdm to use cure 3/4 not sure
We're going to revamp/update BG-wiki's DMG stuff and I noticed this for BLU RA:
This looks mathematically impossible lol.All ranged spells have an upper fSTR2 cap of 44 at 75. This is increased by 1 every 5 subsequent levels to 52 at 99.
Spoiler: show
The first image was when we first hit the pDIF cap using a series of buff/debuffs. Was mayhem. This was a LV12, zero BLU magic skill (Skill gained during the test though; didn't change base dmg), capped pDIF check.
Took 2x Minuet (Set Bonus), Etudes 2x, Dia 2, Absorb-VIT, and Angon to achieve this cap.
DMG: 144
Base dmg of 24 would work with this fTP/Capped pDIF.
24*2 = 48
48*3 = 144 DMG
WSC Check:
15AGI*0.3 = 4.5
Floor(4.5) = 4
(0.98)*(4) = 3.92 = 3 Base DMG from WSC
BLU Skill Check:
(0*0.11)*2+3
(0+3) = 3 Base DMG from Skill
6 Base DMG total before fSTR
(24-6) = 18 Base DMG from fSTR
So at LV12, fSTR cap is 18.
Anyone have data for other levels?
fSTR2 = 2x fSTR, so it's 1 point of damage per 2 STR, and that formula is level/5+7. it's still accurate
(not patronizing)
guess more accurately fSTR = fstr2/2, but whatever. you already know this.
I must be misunderstanding your post somehow.
99/5 = 19.8
19 + 7 = 26
If I interpret as 52 is the dSTR to cap, then
52+4/2 = 56/2 = 28fSTR cap
26=/=28
If I interpret as 52 is the fSTR cap
52=/=26
fSTR = 26
fSTR 2 = fSTR * 2 = 26 * 2 = 52.
About 100STR > VIT to cap. Anything at 16 STR > VIT or higher is (STR-VIT)/4+1
Ok, so LV/5+7 is for fSTR not fSTR2. That makes sense, thanks.
I assume the 16STR>VIT bit is about fSTR as well.
You need 100 STR over VIT to cap, so if you go through the math real quick yeah, it's for fSTR rather than fSTR2. The whole fSTR2 thing can be truncated down to (STR-VIT)/2 + 2
Anyone done Arch Dynamis Lord as BLU? I'm wondering if Sudden Lunge is a reliable stun like it is on normal DL.
