Blu on rubeus feet but not legs, looks like they removed bard from the set as well .. . .

BRD is still on Rubeus Hat, BLU is not on it.
edit: Why couldn't the BRD<->BLU switch have happened on Hecatomb???![]()
im sure it will be fixed within the next 24 hrs, but i hope it isnt. i hate subligars
The legs/hat would be big upgrades to cure potency and fast cast sets, I wouldn't call them situational.
Except we're not about to start threatening a WHM, SCH, or even a RDM's place as a healer. They'll still cure for more than we will assuming both have good builds. BLU's role will remain unchanged. That's all I meant by saying situational. It's situational as in it'll only be a significant increase on things we're not constantly using.
You aren't about to start threatening a WAR, DRK or even a SAM's place as a damage dealer either. They'll still do significantly more damage than we will assuming both have good builds. BLU's role will remain unchanged. That's all I meant by saying situational. It's situational as in it'll only be a significant increase on things we're not constantly meleeing because better DD jobs will be brought instead when blue magic procs aren't required.
See how silly that argument is? I would be hard pressed to call magic fruit situational in any situation I would use blu in, outside of voidwatch, let alone casting anything to make use of a big chunk of fast cast.
Blue magic ratio cap has been changed to 2.25 as well, BT did 1899 with 712 base damage, Should help decently on things where we didn't need the help
Now we can do more damage to lower level content, sweet.
Now I wonder if SE will give ways to allow us to directly increase our ratio, not being attached to spells or lower defense spells. At least enough so our spells are competitive against CDC in high defense situations.
I vote we change the blu formula so that attack buffs effects it like it does um ever other physical source of dmg.
If attack buffs affect blu's ratio, my god that would just make my jaw drop and jizz in my pants. Or at least a 1minute JA that would max our ratio on next spell...anything really.
Heavy strike seems quite a bit more powerful in salvage II. Not sure what level those mobs are.
Good news then. Too bad it's still too inaccurate to use on most things where a single hit spell will normally outperform stuff like Quad (Though Heavy Strike does great damage either way). It's hardly ever going to land on high level mobs. Especially without sushi or pizza (sushi if we're talking about consistently landing it, probably.... -_-). Granted, it won't get the increase in damage on that stuff either.... So there's that.
Anyone have the excel spell check list for blue mage? I had it when I played 2 years ago and it was pretty useful to keep track of what spells you learned but I can't seem to find it now.
