Of course they are using up sparks that could go to that assimalator+1....

She charms, which is why you keep DoTs from disseverment and Foul Waters on her the whole fight.
There's a significant disparity in the time and cost between 119 AF and Spark sets to the point that spark sets are worth it as a stopgap, not to mention the pieces that aren't replaced by 119.
Many of those of those are pretty tiny improvements thou, for gears that don't necessarily replace existing ones. Replacing hurkan cap with wayfarer head on requiescat for example is +2mnd -3str -3acc for -1 inventory, doesn't really seem worth it. If I had 5/5 assimilator +1 I don't think I would carry those gears you list as BIS either, -2 inventory for +7mnd -19str -11~12 acc on req? idk
Anyone know a really good evasion or hybrid evasion set up one could use while flash spamming?
What AA are soloable by blu and what do your guys spell lists look like when you do them?
Also, is it a good idea to cast spells in 5/5 assimilator's +1?
Azure lore + dart messes tt up. Aug'd hands +2 makes it quitea bit better.
What runes did you use for MR? Also, what kind of strat is used for TT?
Edit: I got my shit wrecked by MR and TT on VE due to having no idea what the hell I was doing lol ;(
Both were on VE, but I doubt E would be much different (ie acc and macc wont be an issue). For MR you would use tellus (tames Cloudsplitter, which is the only real concern)
On MR you need to defense the hell up, use a sufficient Sanguine Blade set as an efficient WS for both dealing damage and healing. Make sure you aren't getting caught in casting gear during a WS (ie right after WS, drop some debuff spells, maybe a damage spell or two, then defense up and wait for the next).
Blue must be a job that can prepare for all comers, not just a TP and Req. set......that crap is only for Delve.
Blue mage = Doctor Doom. Have knowledge of what your target does well, find his vulnerabilities, bring the correct tools to the fight, and crush them.
How good is the learn rate of spells in WKR? So far I'm 0/3 wondering how long this will take
Ah okay thanks, I was hesitant to use sanguine since I heard that the mobs had stupid MDEF. Should I also be using cocoon? Cause the problem I was having was that I spent way too much time healing in a full pdt- set.
Yeah Cocoon. The meva isn't bad in VE. They are susceptible to bind (reg.) if you need a short break too. Retinal Gaze, Enbalming Earth, Paralyzing Triad, Benethic typhoon all have their uses. Don't think you have to smash it as quickly as possible, you have 30 min. TP'ing in a PDT- set and using the above spells, along with some casting works just fine. Also Lunge can do substantial damage if you aren't in the phase where MR uses cloudsplitter.
