You can burst subduction, it just doesn't get any damage boost from BA or AL because it doesn't have any secondary damage mods. All the other post SoA nukes are the same afaik.

Didn't work with Subduction as far as I can tell because you need BA up to actually burst them; AL alone doesn't cut it. Because of that it didn't count it and I didn't realize 'til the second cast that I forgot to and it was too late to burst it. xD It looks like it requires multiple Magic Bursts to make a Skillchain.
Weird. Maybe that's what it is. Either way, amused when I was doing Tchakka, went to do a light spam... Thunder created Darkness skilchains, hehe.
Everything creates darkness under AL? I guess drk is no longer the most emo job
You try knowing your fate is to become a tentacle-faced freak if your control slips and not become emo. Does horrible things to one's romantic life, unless you find someone into that. >.>
Looking to max out my blue armor sets, does anyone have a link to current best TP, Fast cast, WS (expiation) cure sets?
Okay, so toying with the new Blue Magic changes, to see what it did. Did all my testing on Blanched Mandragoras (got to them early before the rest of the server started logging on!). On tests where food is noted, was using RCB (only attack food I had on me at the time.) Yes, I know they said that % based boosts are attributed to mainhand only, but I listed main/aux just because.
Primary / Aux Attack: 938 / 880
Heavy Strike: 2101, 1810, 1999, 2030

So there's a definite increase in damage, but it seems sorta wonky, like it's not a huge amount or I dunno what. It may be the spells I used for testing; it was what I had equipped at the time. Also abnormally low amounts on the multi-hit ones (DT and QC) were just missed hits.
Any thoughts on this?
falls within expected parameters, likely coming close to capping attack on those without the extra attack, try on something higher. the boost in pDIF is nice for mid to high range things and falls off in effectiveness on lower level things; wouldn't expect a massive jump in average damage for the most part unless you're fighting something higher tier where physical magic's lack of attack was much more noticeable
Ah, fair enough. Doing some mission blitzing, then I'll go and try on some mobs in Ra'kaznar or Kamihr. Didn't think about capping on Mandies.
Double post, but definitely a much more noticeable difference on higher mobs, even with just a few small samples. Went BLU/WAR and was testing on Cyanotic Raptors (Level 112).
Sudden Lunge (832 Atk): 252, 176, 250, 241, 203
w/ Berserk (1040 Atk): 280, 238, 227, 272, 280

w/ Berserk (1148 Atk): 2797, 2657, 2850, 3011
So yeah... I'm looking forward to seeing if this changes things at all.
Use Nat. Medation and beserk and warcry lol

Does our MaB trait go all the way up to t5 (+36), or does it cap lower than that?
Can spells be learned in Walk of Echoes? I've run Walks 4-6 like twice each trying to learn spells for Unbridled and haven't gotten a single one.
Unless they've changed it and I don't remember, no.
