At 99, white wind is what you'll be using most of the time. With a good set (50% core pot and stack max hp) it's basically a full heal to yourself and anyone in your party near you. The downside (or upside) is unlike white magic curagas, it generates full hate, and it will cap threat in a couple good casts by itself. I was generally tanking anything I was meleeing regardless thou.

EDIT: And for just healing yourself, sanguine blade will be a full heal against anything that isn't undead or dark resistant.

Magic Fruit in a proper set is close to cure enough 5 to others and should do 1k+ to yourself, white wind is only for AoE healing and is overkill most of the time. Teles invincible dia aura comes to mind, but really the setup is poor if you need it. Not to say every setup will always be great, but still.

Herc Vest with an augment of Dex+9 Acc+1 and Crit hit damage +4% good for now for a CDC build? Been spamming the augments and that seems to be the best I got.

Rest of the build is as follows:

Adhemar Bonnet +1: acc20 aug path
    Light Gorget
Ishvara/Mache +1. Holding on buying the second Mache +1 until I finish WotG for the Moonshade earring.
    Herc vest as mentioned.
    Adhemar Wrist. +1: att20 path
    Epona's/Ramuh
    Rosmerta's Cape
    Ligh Belt
    Ayanmo pants
    Herc Boots: acc12, att6, TA+4%

Ditch ishvara for mache NQ, also that herc will lose to anoba or adhemar +1, pick up a begrudging ring, and your feet to theroid.

Mache HQ is better than moonshade. Even brutal beats ishvara.

Is there a semi updated list of where to learn BLU spells?
I'm starting from zero (almost, I've got like 30-40 spells learned) and I wanted them all because I'm OCD. That's probably gonna take me a couple of weeks, except for stuff I can't solo like NMs.
So I was trying to raise the efficiency of my farming and reduce the amount of wasted time by following an ordered list of sorts.

Not sure if anybody ever bothered to create something like this, probably not lol.

Second and last question, is anyone using a spell map in their Lua?
Not sure how you guys call them. I use "spell map" to define something like this:
    Code:
    	spell_maps = {
    		['Battlefield Elegy']='debuff',['Carnage Elegy']='debuff',['Magic Finale']='debuff',['Pining Nocturne']='debuff',["Maiden's Virelai"]='debuff',
    		['Foe Requiem']='debuff',['Foe Requiem II']='debuff',['Foe Requiem III']='debuff',['Foe Requiem IV']='debuff',['Foe Requiem V']='debuff',['Foe Requiem VI']='debuff',['Foe Requiem VII']='debuff',
    		['Horde Lullaby']='Lullaby',['Horde Lullaby II']='Lullaby',['Foe Lullaby']='Lullaby',['Foe Lullaby II']='Lullaby',
    		['Fire Threnody']='Threnody',['Ice Threnody']='Threnody',['Wind Threnody']='Threnody',['Earth Threnody']='Threnody',['Ltng. Threnody']='Threnody',['Water Threnody']='Threnody',['Light Threnody']='Threnody',['Dark Threnody']='Threnody',
    		['Fire Threnody II']='Threnody',['Ice Threnody II']='Threnody',['Wind Threnody II']='Threnody',['Earth Threnody II']='Threnody',['Ltng. Threnody II']='Threnody',['Water Threnody II']='Threnody',['Light Threnody II']='Threnody',['Dark Threnody II']='Threnody',
    		['Valor Minuet']='Minuet',['Valor Minuet II']='Minuet',['Valor Minuet III']='Minuet',['Valor Minuet IV']='Minuet',['Valor Minuet V']='Minuet',
    		["Mage's Ballad"]='Ballad',["Mage's Ballad II"]='Ballad',["Mage's Ballad III"]='Ballad',
    		['Advancing March']='March',['Victory March']='March',['Honor March']='Honor',
    		['Sword Madrigal']='Madrigal',['Blade Madrigal']='Madrigal',
    		["Hunter's Prelude"]='Prelude',["Archer's Prelude"]='Prelude',
    		["Sheepfoe Mambo"]='Mambo', ["Dragonfoe Mambo"]='Mambo',
    		["Knight's Minne"]='Minne', ["Knight's Minne II"]='Minne', ["Knight's Minne III"]='Minne', ["Knight's Minne IV"]='Minne', ["Knight's Minne V"]='Minne',
    		['Fire Carol']='Carol', ['Ice Carol']='Carol', ['Wind Carol']='Carol', ['Earth Carol']='Carol', ['Lightning Carol']='Carol', ['Water Carol']='Carol', ['Light Carol']='Carol', ['Dark Carol']='Carol',
['Fire Carol II']='Carol', ['Ice Carol II']='Carol', ['Wind Carol II']='Carol', ['Earth Carol II']='Carol', ['Lightning Carol II']='Carol', ['Water Carol II']='Carol', ['Light Carol II']='Carol', ['Dark Carol II']='Carol',
    		['Sinewy Etude']='Etude', ['Dextrous Etude']='Etude', ['Vivacious Etude']='Etude', ['Quick Etude']='Etude', ['Learned Etude']='Etude', ['Spirited Etude']='Etude', ['Enchanting Etude']='Etude',
    		['Herculean Etude']='Etude', ['Uncanny Etude']='Etude', ['Vital Etude']='Etude', ['Swift Etude']='Etude', ['Sage Etude']='Etude', ['Logical Etude']='Etude', ['Bewitching Etude']='Etude',
    		["Army's Paeon"]='Paeon',["Army's Paeon II"]='Paeon',["Army's Paeon III"]='Paeon',["Army's Paeon IV"]='Paeon',["Army's Paeon V"]='Paeon',["Army's Paeon VI"]='Paeon',
    		["Adventurer's Dirge"]='Dirge',['Foe Sirvente']='Sirvente',["Sentinel's Scherzo"]='Scherzo'}
Each spell is assigned to a "category", and then I associate each category to a midcast set.
That way all spells of that category will use the same midcast set.
If I want an exception, I just create a custom set for that specific set, otherwise the general rule will follow the spell map.

I wonder if you guys use anything of the sort for BLU and, in case, if anybody would be willing to share theirs? BLU has got an insane amount of spells, reading detailed information for each of them and decide if they have to go in a group or another would take me a loooooot of time, so it would be really useful for me if I could steal the spell map from someone else.

I don't think there's anything on the order of a fully up to date version of the classic Hunting Grounds page. That said, someone did put that data in a Google Docs spreadsheet, and have since added in missing spells (it's got three columns, one by level, one by mob type, one by spell name). (Reddit post from the person that made it). I found that to be very handy when learning spells on one of my alts, mostly because you can make a copy and use it as a checklist (though looking at the ordered-by-family column is also quite handy for saving time). I'd suspect an experienced FFXI player, such as yourself, likely would know if there are better camps than listed/etc.
There's also a Windower plugin, I believe, that'll spit out a list of whatever spells you have yet to learn. Haven't used it myself. Azuresets (or similar) is invaluable, so definitely set that up if you haven't yet.

Spicyryan's LUAs linked from his BLU guide set up spells in maps like you want. My LUA is still based on Prothescar's (linked on the FFXIAH BLU guide) that largely splits things up the same way, but just incorporates the lists into midcast rules. Either way, you can find the spells already categorized in LUA form.

Okay, so you created it? It looks exactly like the original one I used and I started using and editing it from over 3 years now. The same spell mapping and rules written.

The mapping rules of the original from the AH BLU thread are absolutely atrocious to say the least.

Are we really looking at the same GS?

My gearswap was never made to wipe your ass for you. It was a basic spellcast-esque setup with basic macros and functions. It doesn't have mapping rules. It has a list of midcast rules with spells and weaponskills plugged into them instead of an entire index of blue magic spells that you never cast. At the time, if you wanted something that could suck your dick for you, you'd use Motenten's collection of gearswaps instead, which I never cared for due to not needing nor wanting the bells and whistles.

Thanks for the jab tho. I'll remember that. d('_'

Geeze, relax. There isn't anything wrong with having a simple and straight forward GS, especially at that time as spell cast was so recent.
It isn't a personal dig at you to have criticism of a .lua, be a little less petulant.

Just the way it was a giant cluster of "or spell or spell or spell or spell thens" over and over instead of just just mapping them was rather nightmarish.

I never liked motes either, as it wasn't so much bells and whistles for most jobs, but rather just his way of playing those jobs and constructed as such.

Perhaps you should remember that I actually like you instead.

Spicy there might be an error in your lua. In your midcast for the 3 spells of the fastcast group, you call for the "sets.FastRecast" set, whereas you previously defined it as "sets.BlueMagic.FastRecast".
Not sure if it still works but it might be an error.
Also you wrote "Sinal Cleave" instead of "Spinal Cleave" in one occurrence.

Regardless I'm using your spell maps, trying to simplify things a little since I'm just a bandwagon BLU and want to keep things as simple as possible for the maps, reducing the number of categories and hence sets.
Atm I've reduced to: Physical, Mab, Macc, Buffs, Stun, Skill, Cures, Breath, FastCast.
I might actually remove a couple more sets, like the Breath one, possibly merge FastCast and Buffs into a single set, or just use Precast set for FastCast midcast.
According to my gear availability, I might have to merge Macc and Stun as well.
