8 or so people although 3 or 4 were 2-boxed or AFK or whatever. Basically me in front of the mob so jettaru would land, a tank beside or behind and 2-4 other people hitting it from random directions with a couple mages off in the distance. Ironically the 60-something BLU got it on the 2nd kill, the 2 75s got it around the 4rth and 5th. They all slammed a couple times, it's not like it was hard to get them to slam. It seemed like 30% nullsong, 30% thornsong, 30% bodyslam, 10% petro eyes. I can't remember them doing any other TP moves.

I'm not sure why but I'm guessing the mob is immune to "being moved." Jettaru and Temporal Shift were 100% and stopped Nullsong. Out of all the dragons we only had them petro eyes a couple times, it lasted forever but we had a WHM. Bodyslam took 2-3 shadows with NIN sub, and wasn't a problem.

Now I only have Memento Mori left to get. Woo. Hoo.
Any special methods to get the regular dragons to body slam?[/quote:56137]

The xarcabard dragon I don't think has it... I used myself and 2 other accoutns from a friend, melee'd it for like 0~10 damage with a kraken club I tried various things from...

    Running circles around it
provoke it back n forth constantly
provoking from a larger distance so it has to actually move
    tank it from behind
    tank from sides
provoke tank from sides and back
tank on left/right front/back legs while provoking to swap hate around

If they do body slam.. I'd want to see a screenshot (of it doing the motion )>.> as far as I know biast is the only "dragon" out there to do it. I spent a good 45min per dragon to try to make it do body slam.

The mount zhoalym whatever dragon uses body slam alot... just from tanking the front no special conditions or anything.

We went up for Dahaks just now (NIN/DRK, WHM/DRK, BRD/WHM, BLU/NIN) to try and get BTB's final spell. I warned him of Headbutt not working and to set other stun spells but he tried it anyway; every single Head Butt stunned with the exception of one. Really odd that it wasn't working for you.

Your analysis of their TP moves was spot on though. Like you, the only TP moves we saw were Body Slam, Nullsong and Thornsong. Petro Eyes wasn't done once but I did tell the Ninja to stay behind or at the side at all times and it seemed to have worked. Every Dahak did it and we got it on third one.

Positioning doesn't really seem to affect the Dahaks using body slam or not. For some reason, they seem to fire it off as a normal ws...

It's damage is extremely unimpressive at any rate. Kind of wonder if it has a hidden stat mod like Cannonball. 300% with STR/VIT gear and CA only did like 400-500 on an EP bird..

Don't kill me for asking this, but I don't think I saw this question in all the pages here.

Since healing skill has an effect on BLU healing spells, does elemental skill or enfeebling skill have any effect on BLU elemental and enfeebling spells? I think it might be harder to test for these because a they wouldn't actually increase the potency of the spells, just the accuracy.

I asked that before, and no one answered.

Healing magic skill affects BLU healing spells? I went to jorm as BLU/DRK (no healing magic skill there) equipped with MND gear and Apollo Staff, my Magic Fruits did 520. How much would they do with whm or rdm sub? I'm far too lazy to test.

    quick test

    BLU62/WAR31 - MND 47+22 - zero healing skill

    magic fruit - 322 HP

    BLU62/WAR31 - MND 47+0 - zero healing skill

    magic fruit - 272 HP

    BLU62/WAR31 - MND 47+22 - zero healing skill

    healing breeze - 129 HP

    BLU62/WAR31 - MND 47+0 - zero healing skill

    healing breeze - 97 HP

    ---------------------------------------------
    BLU62/WHM31 - MND 53+0 - 96 healing skill

    magic fruit - 332 HP

    BLU62/WHM31 - MND 52+22 - 96 healing skill

    magic fruit - 375 HP

    BLU62/WHM31 - MND 53+0 - 96 healing skill

    healing breeze - 132 HP

    BLU62/WHM31 - MND 52+22 - 96 healing skill

    healing breeze - 147 HP

BTW, when i go WHM75/BLU37 I cure for more than my BLU does with these spells, even when I dump a ton of MND on my BLU and get higher MND than the WHM.

I always wondered why I cured for more /whm than /melee, even though my mnd was relatively the same plus or minus.

    Good info Janice.

Randomly in a EXP pt today randomly spamming, I found something interesting didn't have to much time to test but it happened 3X, I was first thinking it was random like someone else WS when I went during a SC and I hit it and made the SC happen but I watched the next 2 and noticed it was off blue magic.

    Mistral Axe -> Savage Blade(Blu) -> Light SC -> SC+Disseverment(blu) -> Darkness SC

Not sure if thats been posted anywhere
anyone want to 100% confirm test this?

All of the magics I've tried seem to stick more often, but they're still frustratingly random. Not going to replace RDM as sleepers any time soon.

Dimensional Death now gives acc bonus when paired with Frenetic Rip, incase anyone was wondering.

    No Arcana Killer though.

I was wondering ... can BLU get fast cast job trait? I was looking through lists and it seems that it's one of the only ones that we don't get besides double attack. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

No, they can't. Closest thing you'll ever get to it is the 3% from Homam pants.

I wouldn't expect Arcana Killer from that combo....Imps aren't Undead.

A bonus ACC combo at level 63 is pretty nice though.

I ment no arcana killer from any undead combo. Thats what I initially thought the dimensional death fix did (since there are other undead physical moves).

A ha! My bad, misunderstood you there. That's a bit of a bummer then, I would have thought the same thing.
