I hit 38 last night and did a SA+Jet Stream for 183 damage 8)

BLU/THF and a few Shikikoyos on Tiamat has been amazing for us. You can TA all that SA+Cannonball damage on the other tank with it flying for just ridiculous amounts of hate control unless Tiamat then spams Roar when back on the ground. Even then, it helps to recover from those, and it's kinda funny to watch Tiamat spin around and shoot fireballs at the tank that just got TA'd for 1k.

I can't figure out what I should merit. Almost all of them seem really good. I'm leaning towards 5 Chain Affinity and 5 Physical Potency since I usully DD most of the time. Magic Accuracy would be really nice for all the debuffs and Monster Correlation *could* be good depending on how good the hat works.

Any thoughts what to pick?

I can't build 100 TP in 60 seconds with /thf, so the SATA would be a normal hit which isn't worth it. Cutting 20 seconds, 17%, off CA timer is a pretty significant damage and hate boost.

I really want magical accuracy but I took enfeebling for RDM and I know that even with magic accuracy AND +16 blue magic skill AND AF body, blue mages aren't going to be landing spells reliably enough to replace RDM as sleepers, slowers, binders, gravvers, paralyzers, blinders.

Since when did a BLU need TP? It only affects physical spells during CA, anyway. Between them, why not just SATA+Cannonball or something.

What Khamsin said. FFXIFlux, you think I build TP for the 700-1000 damage canonballs? No, I don't, so let me ask you, why would I want to merit CA timer?

Edit: besides, meritting an already short timer over doing more damage/being able to land spells seems ridiculous ^_^

I too think physical potency/magical accurayc is good, but I wonder jsut how useful can monster correlation be if you actually sat n used the chart, like magic do decent #'s of damage on dynamis xarc mobs or something
