I get something like 3 HP for each point of MND I add, but wearing the jubbah or not doesn't effect it
So it's probably like (Level*Something)+(MND*3) or Base+(MND*Something)

Something = healing magic
its gotta be in the equation somewhere ;x
Bought a Healing Torque just now and tried w/o WHM sub.
Magic Fruit w/o torque and 54-3MND - 296
With - 299
Healing Breeze w/o torque and 54-3MND - 120
With -121
K so I took a few screen shots of the effects of Aweful Eye and Cyclone Claw.
I started by casting cyclone claw on a mob targeted behind me, while facing another.

Both mobs recieved the effect of the spell

as was expected.
Next I tried it with Aweful Eye. Once again, targeting the mob behind me while directly facing another.

Same result: Both mobs affected.
To answer the question: How did I aggro a mob that was behind me with Aweful Eye?

Crack pipe maybe? Maybe you were turned at a weird angle, or maybe it was a glitch, but either way, if this did in fact happen, it is not something that happens when the spell works as it should.
Casting Aweful Eye on the mobs you are directly facing will only cause the spell to affect mobs in front of you. Mobs behind you are not affected.
Yeah, MND is a bigger boost, use the +5MND Promice Badge. The benefit of subbing WHM is you get a ton of +healing magic so it has a noticeable effect and you get about +6 MND as well. And divine seal works as well.Originally Posted by Moochi
My question is... and this is fairly rethorical why does Light Staff affects Healing Breeze... it's a damn Wind spell (i know it has cure potency but still) <_<. which just reminded me that i haven't tried it out with Wind staff yet.. even though i been 7 levels since i can use it. Anyone else tested that?
Because Healing Breeze is a spell that cures people and Light Staff enhances the potency of cure spells?Originally Posted by nekoshoonen
Also Mr. Semantics, questions, rhetorical or not, usually end with a question mark.
Immortal's Earring... anyone figure out how to activate the Latent? (+5 Blue Magic Skill) >.> Heh, haven't found any info on my server (It seems like I'm the only BLU that does ENM60 regularly...), and no record on the AH... bah.

Anyways ya, Healing Breeze is a Cure Spell, so it gains the + effects of the Light Staff. It's wind based because it was 10 times outta 10 coded in as a wind based spell on Dhamels ("Breeze" = "Wind", duh D: ). I doubt +Wind Gear outside of Wind Obi will affect it.
if light staff works for itOriginally Posted by nekoshoonen
...why would you use wind staff?

Man I don't even know if I would want to level BLU. I would have to macro swap almost everything for each spell haha. Shit would be worse than RDM. Hell BRD is annoying enough for the instruments, CHR gear, skill gear, staves, MP recovery, etc for macros. I can't see how I dealt with not having windower macros back in the day.
I havent had to macro swap at all yet. With AF body I finally will have to, but really, due to the fact that you have to limit your spell selection you can live without a ton of macro swaps.Originally Posted by Eternus
You'll eventually need a TP, MND/Healing, Phys Blue Multihit, Phys Blue Single hit. Maybe someday a CHR or INT build if it ends up worthwhile. There will be a lot of gear overlap between TP, Blue Multihit, and Blue Single hit. Then Defense for cannonball...oh well there is a lot SOWHAT.
I think as most do gearup to do 1 thing and 1 thing only when going to HNM, exp etc not carry multiple mass sets.. so once you go as somethings its easy to do my macro only changes like... 2 things head/and body XDOriginally Posted by Eternus
verm <-> af body + voyager salet.. thats like it
I only use healing/mnd and DD palletes as their own macro. If im healing, I hit the healing gear macro and im done. If im DDing, i hit the DD macro(base melee gear), then each DD spell will have its own equip swaps macro'ed into the spell. Like Snipers/SH for disseverment instead of af body and str rings with cannonball. (since acc > all with the multihits, and skill doesnt help)
Thats really all I see the need to do. Its not bad at all.
