Blue Mage: Best thread ever

I have windower macros for all my single-hit DD spells and offensive magic spells, but they're not too long. My Cannonball macro, which is my longest, only swaps in and out 7 equips.

It requires quite alot macro's (and especially gear slots) for BLU if you want to maximize yourself.

you macro swap weapons and shields really?


I'm talking about practical, like swapping in Warwolf for Death Scissors and exchanging OHat for Cannonball, not every single +1STR that exists in the game.

No I usually pick my gear before I start whatever I'm going to do
I don't use the windower macro setup for BLU, only for my Thief (Since I still play that 75% of the time)

If BLU would be my only job , I would ofcourse :D
And why would I swap weapons and shield? Sword/Sword for every time I go /nin, and Sword/Shield for everytime Im not /nin w
Except on HNM if I would be BLU/NIN I'd go Sword/Shield or Earth Staff

Oh and yeah.. I meant Korin Obi ._. I got that 1 especially for BLU

does Attack work for BLU?
Also, is there any point in getting Magical Attack bonus?

I know Acc, STR, INT etc do, but when a physcal spell is based on, say, AGI, then Attack becomes completely useless?

1. Not on spells
2. It increases Magical-type spells' damage, excluding Breaths.

Yes magic attack bonus sucks unless you're doing flying hip press or some other blue magic spell I cant even name because I never use any of them.

My blu is only 71 now and it's my only mage type job above 40 so I'm a little lost when it comes to blu "mage" type activities.

I kinda like magic accuracy, helps on HNM stuff soorta and haveing not much any resistance on HNM is nice.

Yes my breath damage is low since my max HP is around 1300, was wearing mostly all MATK and INT/MND gear. That and -ga, aoe attacks and charm giving me hate from summons soorta hurt

and randomly, dam are spells huge on Jol XD

P.S. the blue mage info page was updated a bit and VZX translated it out, mostly the Damage types spells are and some more spell info/ TP damage mod on attack spells
