It's been awhile, but this is what I remember:
-If the pet is Even Match or lower and released at the targets death, full EXP is received by the BST. If it is kept as a pet, there is EXP loss I believe depending on the "check" of the pet. (Too Weak, Easy Prey, Decent Challenge, Even Match)

-If the pet is Tough or above, there is a EXP penalty even if released, but this is where I can't remember... I am not sure if it effects the whole party or just the BST.

Ok everyone, time for a Beasty lesson

Pet: Think of the pet as a party member. Unlike DRG, PUP, SMN, pets are not a natural part of the BST, as in, we cant just summon one out of thin air, we need jugpets or charm.

Example Scenario : Your whole party is 52-54, you are lvl53, the Paladin and the WAR are lvl54.

While going to the camp, you look at mobs, they're probably EP/EM/T/IT.
If it's even match to you at lvl53, you are the only person who receives the penalty in your party.

Now let's say you find a mob that's T to you, but the PLD says it's even match to him (54), then by all means charm it. Once again, if the mob is even match to the highest level person of the party, the only form of EXP loss would be yours, the beastmaster.

Now let's see you found a mob that's T, the PLD checks it and says it's T, you dont care and charm it anyway. Think of it this way : Imagine you just created an allience with a lvl55 person, when you only had 1 party of level54s, what kind of exp will you get?

Now even 1 more thing. Nobody will get an exp penalty unless the puller tags a mob while the BST has the monster charmed. If he charms it mid battle, same thing.


Pets do not cut the experience points of the party UNLESS the monster is higher than even match to someone in the party

I am pretty sure you can equip more than 1 of the same, haven't tried it just yet.

The stoneskin isn't a spell, it is a JA of sorts, a 2hr animation happens everytime they use it, so no interruption.

And Kemi, you go to an NPC to have it installed and it's good to go forever afaik, so it's a 1-time fee.

I don't think you can equip multiples of the same. The NPC you trade automations to won't take a second and just tell you she made that one available to use already. Though I suppose she might let you at a later level or with a different frame...

maybe they can break if the puppet overload or something, the way i see it is that the puppet is a machine so attachement break is bound to happen.

And as for the number you can equip, there is a limit to each elemental type attachement you can equip.

btw, does someone know where you can find the other heads and frames, i didnt lvl pup yet but was wondering.

After you obtain your lvl 10 with Puppetmaster, complet this quest ofr choise the job oh your Puppermaster !

Start quest : Ghatsad I-7 Aht Urhgan Whitgate

Speak with Ghatsad and he inform you if you can obtain new job for your puppet ! 3 choise : DD, ranger or healer !

- Valoredge X-900 : enhance proficiency in close combat
- Sharpshot Z-500 : specializes in long-range attack
- Stormwaker Y-700 : enables its user to command magic spells

You can choise one of three ! For a job, the Galka need some item :

- Valoredge X-900 : a brass sheet, a wamoura cocoon, a chunck of imperial cermet, a pair of tigerfangs and a pay for 3 imperial silverpiece
- Sharpshot Z-500 : i don't know
- Stormwaker Y-700 : a spool of gold thread, a square of velvet cloth, a square of wamoura cloth, a brass ring and a pay for 3 imperial silverpiece

Im sure you can get some dropped in Mount Zhayolm off the Wamrao series of mobs.
