Please tell me if you're going to Limbus straight through teleport-mea without having won Tenzen BCNM. If you can then I agree, they're entirely seperate. People are saying COP is a failure for not providing an alternative to sky, that is what Limbus is. I think most people agree Limbus is successful and provides good items. It has a full god armor set for the jobs that did not get any from sky. Shinra armor and Homam/Nashira have the same shitty/ok/OMGGREATIWANTTHIS rate. Limbus earrings and AF1+1 have comparable quality to the abjurations gained from sky.

The jailer tier system has low ass drop rates. Ground kings have low ass claim rates unless you are on a server with shit for competition or are currently running the best bot. I'm sure you'd have higher pop rates on Jailer NMs if you used MrArgus to run around Grand Palace Huxzoi and the Garden of Ru'hmet.

And Wafik, I think of Novio Earring on the same tier as a Defending ring or Ridill, it's that one insanely rare BLM item. He's saying he doesn't want one because he'll die more. I'm asking what does he want to do with ihs account in he quits... be in a position to make hundreds of dollars or be stuck with rare ex because the bitchy melees in his LS won over the debate and keep everyone in sky.

Yeah, I should have pointed that out as a difference as well...however in fairness Bahamut does make up for this quite well with craftable drops, but yes hard to compare a VClaw from a Benbu you trioed with 4 cashmere threads from Bahamut that took 18.

Okay, cool. I don't give a shit about people crying about Sea. I just don't. I'm just questioning why people are OMG SEA SUX while they sit in DA every day for three hours, in VoS 2-3 times a week for three hours, in BD every other day for 3 hours. They're pretty much the same guys.

Now, I'm not gonna lie, BG has reasons to hate sea, I'd be pretty fuckin pissed too if I farmed pop items for a NM for 4 months, just to find out its broken and have it patched no less than a month later with no refund on the pop items.



Personally, I like sea more than sky. Its the fact that theres no one around, the fact that you CAN get xp while popping NM's (The only sky NM that you can get some form of XP on is Ulli), the fact that the NM's arent on repop timers (2 Ix'DRG's in 30 min, cant say the same about sky). Then again, I also hate kings, and try to avoid them when possible.

Yes it's money IRL. Most people are going to be moralistic about it now, but when it comes time to quit a lot of people silently see a huge incentive to take that $2000 check from IGE when they click trade to that gil mule in Jeuno.

I talk about it casually as a reason for doing sea because I do it already for insanely rare drops on Zilart ground kings. I go to KB to get defending rings, I go to Fafnir to get ridills, I don't go to either of those for the abjurations (eh maybe M legs from KB, but the rest is rot), gil drops, or black belt items. They're nice, but there are far superior (from COP sources mind you) of LS garnered gil. Ouryu requires 18 people and takes 30 minutes. Bahamut#2 requires 18 people and takes 30 minutes. Vrtra takes 1-2 hours and requires 35ish people. Each of these has huge money drops without competition.
