1 skill = .9 ACC as I've proved in one of the previous threads. For Warrior atleast, that means +6 ACC.

Considering the few pieces that ACC gear can be raised in without giving up something better (Body with Haub series and Togi, Rings with Snipers, and Neck Slot), I'd glady give up the meager +7 ATK for +4 ACC. With 700+ ATK, 7 ATK won't do that much whereas 4 ACC will.

The only thing that keeps most people going to Sea is nazi HNMLS leaders that say "YOU MUST GO TO SEA AND FARM FOR MY <ITEM> OR ELSE I WILL NEVER LET YOU LOT ON <ITEM>". You want heralds gaiters off of Tiamat#57? Better go farm Sea. You want c.mask off of KB #104 or ridill off of Fafnir #205? Better go farm Sea. And of course once said leader gets said <item>, Sea magically becomes an optional event that he happens to miss often.

What I don't see is people farming Sea because the rewards in the region in and of themselves are enough to bring people back week after week. It's not like Sky where you can (and certain people do) make a living farming the NMs for money drops, let alone the unrivalled rare/ex gear.

Map's LS is the exception rather than the rule, and I'm astounded that he's managed to keep so many people working together towards a common purpose when the density of unrivalled rewards is so desperately low. Give me minions like that and I'll rule the world.
Again I guess you've had a different experience with linkshell dedication. Being the only active NA HNMLS in sea, we get stuff done without competition, maybe thats the reason why we still put forth an effort to make sea runs.

only time i'm ever doing anything in sea again is when my blu needs spells unless they change the retarded place. The only torques my ls has walked away with was a love and a faith torque in like the whole 4-5months of farming it.

There's no competition in sea on any server, which is just another testament to the monumental waste of time the reward structure is in the zone.

I don't care what LS you're from, you're pretty damn myopic if you think the majority of the LS members in a "divine assignment" system show up to sea because "sea is awesome and rewarding!".

lol I wouldnt be surprised if alot of them hated it, but do you think anyone enjoys camping in valley of sorrows for 3 hours to see Adamantoise pop on window 7? Or maybe Aspid pop and claimed by gil sellers? Alot of people hate going to dynamis too cause its so routine. Sadly, alot of endgame has become a job, but the only way its gonna get done is with a dedicated linkshell, regardless of whether they like it or not.

At least with kings you spend 3 hours motionless, playing Nintendo DS or working, and pay attention for 7 minutes. With sea you pay attention the whole time. And it doesn't matter how hard you pay attention, Ix'aern still isn't popping.

So working or playing a second game because camping HNM is about as exciting as watching paint dry is a positive thing?

    /em high-fives Seebo!

Hence, why I'm hitting refresh on a stupid forum instead of doing revisions for work. Don't have time to log on to farm sea so I might as well make fun of it on a forum haaaaaaaaahahahaha. Joke's on all of us. PCC still > Torques. ;p

Aspid is the least camped of the 3; everyone hates him because his nq drops garbage (500k in ores, wooooo) and VoS is so far out of the way. Despite this, he drops Dalm. What in Sea would you take over a Dalmatica? Anything? And it's not like you actually have to be at computer for 55 minutes per hour.

Way to pick the WORST of the Zilart kings, and I'd still rather bring a LS to Aspid than go to Sea.

Sorry, but there is no way to separate sea the zone from sea the end-game area. While you may not hate sea as a zone, it is a symbol for everything that is detestable and loathsome about CoP- it is so close to good, and if they just listened it could be good, but they don't and it isn't.
As much as I accept the fact people will just hate CoP for the sake of hating CoP, this is just annoying. Instead of looking for the bad, you 'ought to try to look for the good and ignore the bad. SE will probably come to their senses one day and there is even a chance there is a normal way to kill AV(Yah know, Virtue weapons isn't the only theory outthere, but its the only one to ever been checked). While there was a lot of wrong with CoP, mashing it all together and just calling it bad(for not being exactly like the previous expansion being its main fault even) just lowers one credibility.
