mamook Ja Assault has been giving me some problems. Everytime it uses breath it somehow hits me but not the gate. then like 5 breaths later from the same mob it hits the gate. Is there any trick to making 100% sure it hits the gate? because right now it just seems random, even if its facing the gate.

What my group has done is have the tank switch some gear so Firespit misses you and hits the gate, it almost always works.

Problem that I've gotten from that is we've hit the same gate 3-4 times and done like 1k+ damage (others in my LS have done 2k+) and never seen a gate fall. Throw one axe/staff at it for 80 dmg and it breaks.

This has been the one i've been doing alot. we've figured its 3-4 Fireballs, or atleast it has been for my group, or 1 ws move.

I bet defoliate leshy just drops Harvest Earring at a better rate than colorful leshy. Isn't that the case with rose garden/voluptuous vilma and it's drop?

And I seem to remember someone on that goblin wolfman thread saying that they'd seen some JP wearing a Parade Gorget... though that could be BS... or perhaps the items could come from both NMs and Assault?

My wife got a Bloodwood Log today. The ??? Box came from the "Finding Faults" quest when you get both answers correct. The log doesn't exist on the server AH at all, and it only is used in Mezraq and Cerberus Bow. Trying to figure out how the hell to get 4 pieces of Khroma Ore to make some Imperial Wootz Ingots, if we can get that I think we can cash in a nice sum of money on that Mezraq =)

I don't think it's a very good earring at all but to get it for free from an assault when it supposedly comes from an NM no one appears to have or ever will see is pretty damn amazing.
