Indeed. The problem isn't really the WS damage... I hardly ever use Jin on these NMs. It's the damage I deal while getting TP for WS.Originally Posted by Krandor
Well for one thing, you're not getting Dual Wield bonusesOriginally Posted by Krandor
Great, you're still hitting just as hard and earning the same relative amount of TP.Originally Posted by Priran
Try using a lower level katana? >_>
Hmm didn't think of that.. I'll bring my Yoto +1s next time.Originally Posted by Rocl
Um...if you were thinking of getting a few ppl from your server together to collectively find the answer, you're SOL.
Last night I was convinced the troll was weapon skill and WS angle. Popped it today, RDM casts blind....HELLO INTIMIDATION. Something randomizes the weaknesses every time its spawned, be it game day of the week, RL day of the weak, each pop...whatever it is, the answers changed.
It probably works like the crafting GP system *should* work. Each time you pop the NM, it assigns weaknesses to those involved, and then keeps that info for the rest of the conquest. (or in GP terms, keeps for the rest of the day)Originally Posted by NynJa
thats just it...
yesterday it wasnt weak to a certain element, today it was. It probably generates random information, but only stores it when you kill the NM.
Or use a weapon that your class has a lower skill in. A NIN could use Dagger, Sword, Hand-to-hand, Great Katana, Club, etc. As long as you can connect to the mob to get enough TP to do weapon skills, just go through the list to figure out what intimidates it, then switch to your good weapons to finish it off.Originally Posted by WizerdRemora
I've decided that while what "certain weapon skill" means is up in the air (if its SC properties of a weapon skill, weapon type, weapon damage type), you can always TP off nearby mobs and test out the WS from a certain angle.
