Learning Blue Magic

From some non-official tests using multiple people in my HNMLS as test subjects, I have a few variables that seem to directly effect the means to learn Blue Magic. My appologies if these findings have been stated elsewhere, for there are multiple Blue Mage based threads that I lack the time to read though.

Foremost, as stated explicitly by SE, the mob must be of level to gain EXP off of. This is a relative calculation based solely upon the level of the Blue mage in the party and NOT members of his/her party. It IS possible to group with a high level individual and still learn Blue Magic.

Blue Mage learning is also based upon the blue mage, and is not mob-related. Two Blue Mages in a single party can have one BLU learn an ability when the other does not.

Strangely though, I have found a correlation between CHR and learning of abilities. This would be similiar to BST correlations to beast in general. Basis: A Mithra in my LS was having a horrible time learning BLU magic, while a hume and elvaan were breezing past her, learning everything. After seeing Sheepsong 25 times and not learning it, she was getting frustrated, on a spur of the moment recommendation, I tell her to try to buff her CHR. By rearranging some Blue magic abilities, she raised her CHR by 7, and learned Sheepsong 2 uses later. Additionally, while still in CHR mode, she learned Head Butt first try.

It's not that much, though I am sure there are some times he misses a day and then posts 22 times to make up for it.

And I would like to hear confirmation about blue magic skill or CHR affecting it if anyone else has something to say, though the other thread does mostly cover it, this is quicker referrence.

i am elvan and i am 0/250 on pollen 0/100 on metalic body( try that for frustration)
hume in my LS is 0/100ish in pollen as well yet mithras are 1/1 on both skill

CHR affecting learning rate is probably bullshit. I'm lv23 mithra and I've learned everything on an average of 1 out of every 2 attempts.

I do have +8 CHR but I seriously doubt this stat does anything. Its most likely the same as CHR affecting provoke, its just a myth that doesn't have any real basis, because at the end of the day, learning spells is just luck (and maybe blue magic skill, but that could be a myth too).

edit: how the fuck do you get 0/100 on metallic body? thats just not possible....

Only real thing I noticed was Blue Magic skill definetly seemed to effect learning rate.

At LVL1 with no blue magic it took forever to learn an ability (dont think I got one to 5-6?) however nowadays with capped magic I learn it within 3-4 kills.

Thats very Believable, I went 1/1 on so many abilities already, since it was capped at around 15.

Yep, I'm pretty confident that almost everybody here got pollen at level 3+ and not at level 1.

edit: Can someone confirm that the mob you're trying to learn from MUST give exp or can you leech off a level 75 in your group?
