Learning Blue Magic

I just learned Blastbomb from a Too weak warmachine in Ghelspa. SEs wording:

- You will not acquire blue magic if you are KO'd when a monster is defeated, [[[[or the defeated monster does not yield experience points.]]]

Call for help, and look at the message that you get when the monster is defeated. Perhaps SE is just being sly with their wording again?

I can't really test this any further, since I have all spells until 22 now. If anyone who has missed a lower level spell could go out and try to confirm this, that'd be great.

anyone been able to figure out some skillchains?
i found red lotus blade > screwdriver makes scission. but i couldnt make anything else. i tried fastblade > screwdriver, claw cyclone, helldive. combo > all 3, red lotus > all 3 and only 1 made a chain ; ; i posted on KI but no replys yet had to do with skillchains =/

Nah, im speculating that SE is trying to be clever, and allowing you to learn spells from any mob that isnt CFH'ed.

Bulk have you yet to see Damage difference based off your stats? and what sub you been using? Thf like in sc

sneak attack ups the damage a ton on physical spells like scrwedriver and clawcyclone, also im not 100% positive but i notice a difference from bard songs like minuet, at least i get high numbers more consistantly with them.
i havent spent too much time testing stats due to lack of large stat gear at this level and lack of time. ill prob get double etude for each stat and try out my best spells when im higher up.

ok thanks. And burst affinity... which spells have you been able to use to MB? so far i havent got any...

bomb toss can MB on fire chains, and i think blood drain and sandspin can MB As well but i dont konw what chains it would work on

It has nothing to do with Minuet/attack. Take off your weapon with a mage sub, and cast a few physical damage spells. The resist rate will be terrible because the accuracy is based upon your main weapon, but when you do land one.. the damage will be the same.

Tested as a level 20 Blu/Rdm. H2H skill = 2 (mnk merits), attack 19. Did the same damage when I used my capped sword and 70+ attack.

didnt think so since sneak attack can guarentee a crit why would it be so insane to think that attack can alter the damage of it?

Duno if it has been posted b4. From my experience capped Blue Magic does effect learning Magic. When it was low as hell I had hard times learing shit. 0/many Pollen, Wild Oats, Feather Storm.

When it was capped i learned almost all within 10 tries. Healing Breeze was like 15. Didnt learn it in Tah.Canyon , but learned it then in Buburimu within 4 or 5. Iam now Level 20 and what I also realised that the maximum Spells you can learn b4 are 10 Levels ahead (friend has done).

I learned during Leveling up from 19-20 on the Goblin-Kill Bomb Toss(lvl28) which is 8 or 9 levels ahead since it happened during leveling.

So,
-Level 75ish can be in your party and you learn it.
-2 hour doesnt effect learning.
-Higher Blue Magic seems to make it easier to learn.
-Mob can be too weak.
-You can learn spells 10 levels ahead. (for me my best is 8/9 levels).

When it has been posted alrdy, I dont care

CHR does not effect learning at all

Im struggling to read this.

If youre trying to say that because sneak attack affects something, that attack must as well (?), youre sadly mistaken.

Its been tested, its not speculation. Attack/Weapon skill doesnt factor into the damage equation.
