If it was subbed you'd only be able to do healers which is level 20, Evoker's roll is level 40.
Edit: Also, the rolls seem to do a % of whatever it is you're buffing. Like a % of your Attack is added when you do Chaos Roll and the % varies depending on what you roll. I would believe that if you subbed there would be either some sort of penalty such as you don't get the same type of % of that even if you do Roll 11 I'm not certain but I'd have to do more testing.
Is cor able to position themselves like bard where mages get certain buffs and melee get certain buffs, or is their AOE too large?
Yes. Once you get Healer's Roll, you'll start doing this.Originally Posted by Gumu
Could you give a comparison to something similar to show the range please. I'm assuming it's going to be about the same as a Bard song played with a flute but I won't start finding out till Thursday.Originally Posted by Xanoxonax
I'll assume it's like that, because I never played BRD, so I can't give you specifics. All I know is, I moved around like I have seen BRDs do for ages when using horns, and just did it like that. My WHM never got hit with the Chaos Roll and melee that didn't need hMP never got hit with Healer's.Originally Posted by Russta
Only thing that truly sucks is the one minute recast timer on Phantom Roll. Such a pain in the ass. Tearing through mobs so quickly, not a lot of time to give all the buffs the party might ask for. I'll assume this will change at higher levels when the fights take a little longer.
It's a relativly small AE, at least at level 20. Haven't really tested, but it sure isn't something weird like zone-wide or room-wide.Originally Posted by Russta

what is lucky number? let me guess, it is number 7?
God, and I was hoping to never level another job pre-37 again.Originally Posted by layoneil
It tells you the lucky and unlucky number of each roll on the description, just hold the cursor over it. Currently, Chaos, Hunters, and Ninjas are all lucky=4 unlucky=8. Corsairs is lucky=5 unlucky=9.Originally Posted by Henisha
Easy thing to remember is that the unlucky number is four higher than whatever the lucky number is.
Rolls have been tested to have a 10' range, the same as wind instruments or singing.
