BLU Flag Troubles.

So.. missed the answers the first time, but got them right the second. Waited a day and he asked for Valkurm SunSand, and I gave him that. He told me

"My colleague is currently part of an imperial patrol that apprehends desecrators of the ruins found in the Aydeewa Subterrane. The Aydeewa Subterrane runs beneath Bhaflau Thickets. May the winds of fortune guide you."

After that I had to do sky stuff so I had to put the quest on hold.

Later that night I came back and just to make sure, he said the same thing. So according to the guide I was sposed to go to that blue poolish thing in Aydeewa Subterrane, so I did, and nothing happened.

Zoned out, came around and back in, nothing. Went back to the NPC and back to the pool, nothing. Zoned out and back in, nothing. Called GM and they said I missed something.

So.. im not sure what exactlly im missing when the NPC tells me to go to the pool.

I resorted to looking at KI and alla guides and I see nothing I missed. KI said it had to be completed in one game day, but when I went back to the NPC later, it still said the same thing, and nothing diffrent.

So, can anyone give me some advice? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the sunsand needs to be in your inventory when you walk into the pool. Did you throw it away or stick it in your mog safe?

Forgive me if you do but you have to have the Sunsand in your inventory at the thing in the Subterrean. I had that issue because I sold it and had to rebuy the Sunsand.

wow, this quest really sucks, 3 hours trying to get the quest and I still can't wtf...

Choose option #4, tell them Xavier sent you. I'm not even on that server and he unlocked BLU for me and I was done the quest.

I don't quite know how people are having issues with this. Someone in my LS went up and figured out the answers, I just did what he did and I got it done. And that guy is stupid as hell so I don't think it's that hard. I think he was just saying "Whatever sounds Blue mage-ish" but I'm not quite sure what that stereotype is. If I had to guess, it'd be something like chaos neutral or chaos good type answers. But then again I'm just assuming cause I never really got into DnD...

All kidding aside, 5 people can use the same answers and 2 will get the quest and 3 won't.

I used my g/f's answers 3 times and never got it (exact answers she flagged it with first try), so I got pissed and went back and answered every question as chickenshit as possible and got it flagged.

I read somebody's posted answers and then saw that the next person used completely different answers and still got it. While others had used that persons answers and not gotten it. Maybe if too many people use the same answers, they quit working..?

I dont know... I walked up, and winged it, and got it first try... I assume you have tried that? I think there is something to the fact that everybody I know having trouble getting the quest is using somebody elses answers. But who knows?

I picked random answers and got it. Maybe you fail if you take too long to complete the quest?

This is what worked for me:

Where the number equates to the answer option of each question... so first Q, give 2nd answer... 2nd Q, 2nd answer... 3rd Q, 3rd answer and so on.

Also told a few people in LS and they got it done this way as well.

Zigma, I had the same troubles with the quest, failed it twice. Then my friend told me to try and reply the exact opposite of my previous answers the following test and it worked. He said several of his friends used this method and got it. Just more speculation for people to ponder over

maybe you made the mistake with the first question.

it is 1 question and then 10 following
so the first if the top answer and then like listed.
should work.

also you have to answer the questions what i know twice.
first try he doesnt flag you even you answer them all right.

2nd attempt he tells you what item you need to bring him when answered correctly LIKE THIS :
