For those having trouble on Imperial Agent Rescue (Mamool Ja Assualt)

Switching Gear/Evasion Gear isn't the key.

You must line up yourself and the mob's path of attack at a certain angle to the door.

I tried both Switiching gear and tons of evasion, none were reliable. Did a successful mission tonight finally, and was able to get 4 spits in a row to land on door. (Too bad it wasn't the right one) Next door, the mob spit at me 3 times and hit me, then I tried moving a bit and lining up, and again, all spits after landed on door. Just be careful of the kick move, cause that'll knock you back and out of place.

So once you are lined up correctly between the mob and the door, there is no need to move at all when the mob does the spit move?

When we did it, the paladin was lined up with the door then moved out of the way quickly when the mob did the spit move.. and that seemed to work. But if you're saying we don't have to move at all, that would be helpful to know. ^^;

After doing Ilrusi's escort today, im really tempted to try going as BST and seeing if I can charm my way through the escort. I have a feeling that it's a yes, the mobs after all were not impossible to gauge, and seemed like normal mobs. However, so are fished up mobs , and we cant charm those at all.

I guess i'll try it with my BST soon

I have a feeling that it's a yes, the mobs after all were not impossible to gauge, and seemed like normal mobs. However, so are fished up mobs , and we cant charm those at all.

I thought the NPC ran at the first sight of a mob? We just killed everything in the zone and had lots of time left.

it does, but pets =/= mobs.

I did it last night 2x. 600 and 500 points... tonight I have 2 tags so I'm probably going to do mamook tonight then try the island. My group is very mage heavy so I can't think of a way to take down the wall for Halvung.

Someone mentioned Spirits Within doesn't work on the walls, but does Soul Eater?

Sorta. It adds damage but not NEAR full damage. It is like +2 for full hp loss

For the periqia assault.. just pace him, but dont stay with him, just stay a bit behind him.. if you get too close he'll stop, if you dont he just keeps going continuously (have 5 people clear the mobs while the 6th paces him, clear fast).

That's the great thing about my group.. Everyone has a DD job except one, who has BRD, and everyone has a mage job except me, who has DD and tank. Multi jobs ftw.

I hate Periqia, btw.
