Basically RMT have some kind of monopoly and are doing ok with it, the skin supply is kinda low again though. I guess its been randomised quite substantially now to find out how and with what limits...

Been fishing in Kuftal and Terrigan for some time and
would like to share some observations:

Kuftal Tunnel-
Spawn time has varied from 10min - 3 hrs
drop rates seem to have been lowered
more chance of crab and pugil spawns
(in 15 min me and 2 other groups fished up
like 3-4 crabs and fish, more than it used to be)

Terrigan-
When a manta bites immediately 2 seconds after
you get the message "You are not sure how long
you can hold on".... etc
This kind of implies that you would need the key
item from the fishing guild "mooching"? to increase
the fishing time. For that amount of effort I certainly
hope SE increased the drop rates in Terrigan. I
just started on saving gp and skilling up. Anyone
with 88 veteran status and the key item can test
this out plz?

That would hopefully make sense, put an extra step in that a "real" player is more likely to do/understand

It's probably Frog Fishing. I have all the fishing GP I'll give it a shot sometime. Mooching would only work if you were using the EX bait.

Also, it takes a very long time to pull up a manta, unlike crabs which take no time at all, and pugils which are in the middle of both.

I wish the same could be said on Shiva. There has been a bonecrafter buying them like crazy and there are never any on AH

i have been fishing them up with a friend over the course of a couple days and we have fished up about 25-30 mantas (not sure on the exact number) and have not gotten a skin yet, in kuftal tunnel.

fishing them up is fairly easy.

Fish them in Kuftal in the same little spot. It has a pop time I think its 15-30 minutes after ToD when it can be fished up. I got one a week ago from that camp. Honestly just look at the gilsellers fish when they fish Worked for me. Eagle did you see that dirty bitch Mith who buys 90% of all the skins off the AH and never responds to tells or anything. Fuckin naked mithra in upper jeuno -.-

Yeah, he seems to be going for HQ cap, but if they were any bit of intelligent skins would still be 1mil...would make it cheaper to HQ... -.-

I'm hoping angel skin will go the way of the dragon talon, but no matter how cheap they are you can't sell cursed gears like weskits.

This is what it looks like on Bismarck and you NEVER see that person buy any angel skins. I know that char hangs with them but not sure if it's an actuall gilseller.

There's this one guy on Pandemonium that's just like that. I've never seen him before anywhere, ever, one day he pops out of nowhere and starts buying every last skin on AH and synthing shitloads of cursed. Guy's name has been on the last 6-9 sales out of 10 on every single hecatomb part for months now.

He pretty much is single handedly responsible for angel skins costing about twice as much as they used to. Before, the gilsellers fished a lot faster than crafters would buy (only me and one other JP guy regularly bought them, so we pretty much could keep the price down as much as we wanted), but since he showed up buying every last one, the price got pushed way way up. The worst part about it isn't even the material price, he managed to increase the supply of NQs so much that even getting rid of 1-2 NQs on anything now is horrible, since he always has like 5 of everything up.

Pretty sure he's a gilseller, wouldn't be surprised if it's been happening on other servers for a while too
