The making of BLU AF:

Pick 4 random stats from a hat. There is a high probability that some of these stats might be related to the job.

Add +15 magic skill.

Randomly pick a job ability and add the word enhance too it.

Pick a random element and add +10 or +15.

Add parry skill to hands or head and evasion to feet.

Set total defense higher than sam or drk af since this job is a mage.

Leave work early and go home to watch hentai.

Didn't say it was good, THF AF+1 woohoo there's better armor out there,
They didn't even really improve on the AF2+1 as well, and no NIN didn't get regular crafted gear with enmity on it, no I haven't seen that anywhere.

You went from talking about AF and AF+1 to talking about random crafted gear. Locke said throwing and R.att gear on AF, you bring up yasha/arhat. You are confusing, if you're going to argue, pick an argument and stick to it.

Locke shurikens are pretty decent DD as ninja before ranged attacks got nerfed and people realized +attac/str gear on nin was good. Nowadays its pointless, and SE is only adding gear to give us added variety and options to previous gear that we wont use or take anyway because the previous gear has yet to be outdone.

Shurikens are still pretty good. I toss the lv28 shurikens in 50-cap and do similar damage to my lv50 katanas. I imagine if I tossed the lv48 ones I'd do more.

They are actually really good, just hard to get a hold of the good ones because they arent worth crafting to most people. The dps on them is pretty good, you can literally spam them and they hit hard.

Win. Don't forget AF1 though, gotta take a weapon BLU would use at 41, half the damage, add another random stat like MP+20 on it and make it rare/ex, then make the quest for it involve meaningless cutscenes that take forever.

Shurikens are decent, just that the cost is rediculous after Manji Shurikens (and including manji if you don't synth your own). 500k a stack, not even rangers pay that much. Don't even get me started on Fuma, total waste. If SE wanted to see more ranged ninja's, they'd fix the synth on Fuma's to produce 33/66/99 and remove Gold ingot from the recipe list.

I specifically stated @75 for a reason. (AF1+1 is lvl74.) And I didnt even state that shurikens were bad damage, just the fact that noone uses them endgame because of not only the ranged nerf and the fact that a useful shuriken (Fuma) at that lvl cost like 80k/each, but haste and Dual-wield will always result in incredibly higher DPS @75 then anything else. Point is its useless, and noone does it, yet they still make gear that supports it. Sorry if noone realizes how utterly pointless of SE that is.
