meh, always thought horse isn't supposed to exist in FF world

so which one is faster, a horse or a chocobo? :D

Horse or not in FF, odin/darkrider/idcwhoitis would look really stupid and gay on a chocobo no matter how badass his model, unless the chocobo was like black or dead or something... on fire or something even. FFXI's chocobo model looks to nice and cuddly for odin to be riding it, mythology or not.

Does he look any less badass to you?

Just because he is named Dark Rider doesn't mean he isn't Odin. He could be called Dark Rider in this zone, but Odin in a CS. SE is probably wising up and knows we see .dats.

As a side note, Odin may not be a Celestial Avatar not an Avatar at all though he is on the Stellar Map, unless Tonberries, Moogles, Bombs, Vultures, Chocobos and Behemoths are Avatars as well since they are on the Stellar Map too. Only time will tell... ^^

Not really; they were just in the final promotional video for ToAU shown around the last dev meet and people drew their own conclusions.

Well they did announce Cerberus on the website, and I'm sure they made short mention of Odin, something like "it's being considered" or whatever, but never confirmed him.

I'm still not aware of odin being in the game. How do you know what weapon skills he does?
