And only Gulkeeva gave excuses for not claiming.

Why hasn't anyone tried claiming the thing? well duh you'll die, but u got reraise, post some screenshots of the glorious death!

I wanted to atleast get a picture, that guy moves very fast when its jsut walking, by time I saw him on the side of me, got fraps up and tooka picture in like 30sec, he was already outside range of dia/flash.

He stopped for maybe 5 seconds and dissapeared as I ran toward him, he moves atleast marzuka speed.

well I keep fraps open when wonering TaU areas now, I only thought he appears in area's near the main city, not somewhere across the ocean. Next time I see him I hope to get a video and claim him to see what he does

The spawn condition can be like KV in the desert based on what that wiki says maybe

Go to your FFXI Folder and browse 4/1/49.DAT. This file lists the NPCs found in Aht Urghan Whitegate. Look about halfway down through the file.

Also, concerning the Hazhalm Testing Grounds (zone right next to Talacca Cove in the Mire), the few times I've gotten in, the area has always had double darkness weather. Scanning the NPC file for it, I found the Entry Gate (which is targetable inside the zone and despite its name, does not let you in) and a series of Portcullis.

Possible Odin BC/Assault zone in the future?

hmmm constant double weather makes me think of Avatar BC Zones... so yeah that's a viable conclusion to have come to.

All the aea's have a soorta "bc room" and a door to it+ledge off from the end of the BC I presume, maybe a future beastmen BC soorta thing.

I don't believe Odin is fightable. If he was killable, I'm pretty sure they would have a title for me(and also, drops).

Naja does have an option in her cutscene where you can say you fought Odin though.

Another thing to note about Hazhalm, is that it's searchable - as in, it actually shows up in your search areas menu, but Jade Sepulcher and the Execution Chamber don't.

I've seen a few screenshots of an unclaimed "Dark Rider", but where are the screenshots of people fighting him?

Next time someone sees him, go ahead and try to solo him for great justice!

That would be so damn cool... an unkillable HNM that wanders zone to zone that can't take any form of damage and just casts Death on people.

Something tells me it's not meant to be killable. Chi blast isnt often resisted as far as I can remember. ...unless maybe you need jailer weapon.

Which reminds me, anyone figure out a function for the Engraved Tablets that can be found in the new expansion zones? They all seem to point to islands when comparing their locations to the maps.
