FFXI problem.

Games been running fine for a few months on this computer then all of a sudden this:

I've restored to a date when it worked, updated / reinstalled graphic card drivers all to no avail. Posting in the hope that someone has encountered this problem and knows how to fix it. I've spent a few hours searching but haven't come across anything remotly helpful.

...Seriously though, first thought that came to my head was reinstalling/upgrading Direct X. Good luck!

Sound like DirectX or something.

Also check drivers for your card I think, this has happened to one of my friends before, but I don't remember how he handled it.

Go into FFXI Config, and reset all the settings to default, then save it. Then go back into it, and put what settings you want back. Seems to work for everyone I know who has had this problem since the last update.
