    Mamool Ja 3-

    Mission Orders: Sagelord Molaal Ja is visiting the training grounds to oversee the
    progress of the soldiers. His elimination would sow chaos and confusion in the Mamool
    Ja ranks.
    Objective: Kill the Sagelord.
    Rank Requirement: Superior Private
    Level Required: Level 70+

    Who knows why an Assault mob from the staging point is listed in the .dats for Mamook, although I would speculate most/all the other undiscovered mobs listed above are also Assault mobs though.

    Other stuff I dunno
    That's in the Navugko zone, which should have a seperate text .dat. This is from Halvung.

    Hmm... Mamool has something pretty similar except it deals with bells, I guess this is the text that unlocks the BCNM area =x.

    The green is from that picture quest, but has anyone seen the highlighted red text in Halvung?
    I got this message from the Halvung door @ F-11.

    Was solo and never did open the door.

    You rap on the gate using the pattern you see on the two musical scores. After a time, you hear the creaking sound of a heavy bar being lifted on the other side of the gate....
    The pictographs on the <> and <> fade away without a trace....
    There are two new key items....
    Musical Score - 1st Page and Musical Score - 2nd Page, which read as:
    A scroll covered in Moblin letters and pictographs. You cannot read the Moblin words, but the pictographs have been drawn to be understandable to Trolls. The score seems to represent a rhythm of some sort.
    There are Moblins in Halvung.

    Theres also 2 key items for the Maoool Ja doors (Red + Blue Bells) as well as 2 for the Lamia's (Merrow + Lamia Homunculus).

    I found the door in Mamool Ja which requires the red bell, its in the northern part of the first map, near that big pond.

    I think the moral of like 90% of the threads on these boards atm is that SE has just given us the skeleton of the new zones and still has alot of stuff to flesh out.

    Alot of the zones atm are almost 100% useless (the BCNM zones, those Tidal Gates Kalia found, that island in Wajaom with nothing on it, etc)

    Yeah, guess it's for the recovery of the astral casdencesnsewhateverthefuckitis. The Lamia and Mamool areas also have two key items.

    From Caedarva Mire:

    There is nothing out of the ordinary here.

    You see something shiny on the ground...

    A chill runs down your spine!

    There is an oddly shaped plant here.
    Its leaves start quivering violently when you touch it!

    You hear a droning sound like a thousand insects beating their wings.

    You hear a pleasant sound that rings out like a musical instrument.

    You hear a low growl like that of a wild animal.

    You hear a grating sound like that of crushing glass.

    There is nothing out of the ordinary here.
    Has anyone seen this text in game before?

    Also, I've been going through the zones trying to assign them to the right place. ROM4/1/0-24.dat:
    0 = Ilrusi Atoll
    1 = Periqia
    2 = Arrapago Reef
    3 = Ferry - Al Zahbi to Nashmau
    4 = Ferry - Nashmau to Al Zahbi
    5 = Lebros Cavern
    6 = Mount Zhaylom
    7 = Halvung
    8 = Leujaoam Sanctum?
    9 = unused zone
    10 = Mamook
    11 = Mamool Staging Grounds
    12= unused zone
    13 = Aydeewa Subterrane
    14 = Caedarva Mire?
    15= Chocobo area
    16 = unused zone
    17 = unused assault zone
    18 = unused zone
    19 = unused assault zone
    20 = unused zone
    21 = unused zone
    22 = unused assault zone
    23 = unused assault zone
    24 = Caedarva Mire
    25 and on = nothing

    I wonder if you can donate and get more water or if the prizes change as you donate more?

    Anyone willing to donate 1000 ><

    It probably works like

    100 bronze = prize
    100 silver = prize 2
    100 mythril = prize 3
    100 gold = prize 4

    I would imagine it takes into consider exchange rates. So that if you trade 500 bronze you get prize 2, and 2,500 bronze you get prize 3, etc

    My guess is that is the undead swarms weakness (sound) When i fought the troll NM a random npc character kept showing up. Targeted it said Parculiar Seed, and when clicked it squirted me and then the troll was intimidated by me. So I'm guessing its sorta the same thing when the Lamia is poped.

    He only takes bronze, and that is really annoying. I'd just rather give him some gold pieces.

    I gave him 200 bronze, he just gives you another Walahra Water. From the description it seems like it may just be a drink food item. I have two so I'll start trading it to all the mysterious ???'s when I'm bored sometime.

    So the only thing I can think of that also uses the name Walahra is the Turban... What else uses that word?

    Nothing, but seeing as how those storm gloves dropped in an assault, I just bet the turban is the same way on a harder mission.

    By the way, since you have 2 waters, use one and let us know what happens.

    The Walahra Temple is a location in Aht Urghan Whitegate. I don't know if this counts though, you can see it on your map.

    But the storm gloves have an an entire set don't they? The weapons do at least, not sure about other parts of armor.

    yes
    thers actually 2 sets wich is named storm...i guess both drop in assault...
    one is more with melee stats the other is with mage stats...

    i dont think walahra turban is assault drop...everything that drops in assault is mid lvl gear since assault is accesible from lvl 50 on..

    i think walahra turban is a quest/mission reward wich is used in some kinda quest related to the temple....its kinda hard for me to believe that the item is named the same as the temple just by the odds and drops from some random assault or mob...

    I think it's weird that the Storm armor pieces that drop in Assault don't have full sets--they only have head, hands, and feet pieces.

    You probably get the turban from this NPC... try trading 1000 coins lol

    Just to confirm, 200 coins simply gives you another Walahra water =o
