Moat Carp

I heard that Halcyon Rod is now the best rod to use for catching Carps but what I wanna ask is 2 things: 1) Is this true?, and 2) If this rod can catch Carps, will it work also with Sabiki Rig catch multiple carps at one time?

I like fish none as is so I don't know much about it. I have like lvl 3 Fishing. Never put time into fishing.

Sabiki rig only works with fish that can be caught by it. Moat Carp cannot be caught with it so you can't get multiple carp per catch.

You can skillup to 11 fishing for Moat Carps. Try the pond in Ronafure. And don't forget to cancel anything with three !!!s. That way you won't break your rod off a log and you don't have to bother with fishing up mobs.

I agree Hume rod is good for moats if you know what to cancel. Depending on where you fish though it will break on some fish and definitely rustys. With a halycon you will never get a 'too small' message and it can't break on any rustys.

The thing is... all the fishing I do is *ahem* ..well done for me, and with Hume rod I would come back to the keybaord and find all my rods snapped, with Halycon I don't have that problem.
