Personally, I loved WW except for when you were in the boat...which was unforetunately alot...But nevertheless I still enjoyed WW^^

Thats what I have heard, I don't own a GameCube but I am buying one just for Twilight Princess and Wind Waker, and of course Super Smash Brothers.Originally Posted by Lbelle
I enjoyed the boat stuff actually, it was rather relaxing, though playing the song to change wind directions did get on my nerves, by the time that happened I could teleport around.Originally Posted by Lbelle
Fixed that.Who cares what it's called, just give me Super Smash Brothers Thwii and I'm all for it baby
And OoT > snes > orignial
is right on
Wind Waker owned. It was the first Zelda to actually have a *real* story to it (obviously not as in-depth as a RPG, but still good). If I had to choose one that I DIDN'T care for, it'd probably be Zelda II: Link's Adventure, and Zelda: Majora's Mask. The rest I enjoyed thoroughly. OoT had one, too I suppose... but it didn't feel as good as WW. "Time" in games is just too hard to make into a proper story. (Which is also why MM wasn't very enjoyable for me)
And if you say "OMFG THE GRAPHICS WERE TEH SUCK" then you need to die.
Agreed. At that time that was state of the art, no other game had a 3-D, fully interactive world that big. All the motions were very fluid and seemless and the graphics were gorgeous at the time. I loved Ocarania of Time, it is one of the best in the series if not the best.Originally Posted by Carbon

I was actually referring to Wind Waker. :wink:Originally Posted by Heian
It was a good game. It was very experimental, like many zelda games, and IMO it succeeded.Originally Posted by Russta

I popped in WW this morning...and damn, the graphics are still fucking sweet. I loved the style, and the effects are just excellent. Anyone that didn't play the game because of the graphics deserves to have his/her ability to pass on their genetics to the next generation revoked.
How come (and I know I'm asking for a flame with this, and a derail...) everyone can look past the "kiddie graphics" in WW and not FF9? They're both great games...![]()
I liked FF9.Originally Posted by Lbelle

I looooooved Golden Sun, though. They need to make a third one so, so bad. I hope it's on the Wii.![]()
The gameplay and the story in IX sucked, not the graphics.Originally Posted by Lbelle

I liked FF9 too, but the last boss was pretty random.

I assume you're talking about the last alternative boss, Ozma. You could beat him with a lv 1 party if you had the right gear but you can wipe with all lv 99 chars too. He actually has a pattern to his attacks but at first glace it just looks like he's pulling stuff out his assOriginally Posted by Xavier
FF9 derail ftw btw
No, he's definitely talking about the last boss. The one after Trance Kuja. It was completely weird and random.
