Actually, as soon as it started casting B-ga 4 I tried to run up to it with a Hobaku. But we were kinda doing a roaming PT there so I couldn't close the distance fast enough before the nuke landed.

What was really fun was the second time we went to fight it.

SAM: "Let's kill the bhoot again, that was fun."
MNK: "Yeah!"
All: "OK!" *proceeds to stomp it*
Bhoot: "GTFO" *insta-casts Perdition*
MNK: "Ow..."

Was your BRD half-asleep or did it have Fast Cast?

While I'll admit to being pretty gimp with my only +62chr it was a definite struggle to get things to sleep there. I've never had problems with sleeping mobs before in 99% of the zones I've exp'd in, but it was like "random mob" resists lullaby.

It was a very fast cast on the b-gaIV

They only pop at night and are pretty :D

Yes, their casting time on these spells are immensly small, and it's not like KRT where you may have the chance to interrupt, due to it's high level, and also it's nothing like Blizzaga3 where you can just heal yourselves up. Only aurik and the bard were in range (taru brd), and the bard had 3 HP left over from over 1k, I was just shocked since I had never seen the spell before, spamming Cure4/3/4/3.

At the end, we used the ghost as part of the chain, because it was so pretty. And then it used the insta-death move. It doesnt use it very often, but it only used it because sure took our sweet time playing with that one. I couldnt even land silence with wind carol (and I have a ton of enfeeb merits and af2 hat and mahatma etc etc).


Chain 1, 235 xp. Unfortunatley that and lamias are the only things that give high exp, everything else gave us KRT style xp, but hey im sure once we figure the loop it'll be good :D still 9k/hr and we had a non mnk burn setup.

I think the XP could be good there if we had a loop patern down and the bitches would sleep better. Our party was less then optimal but we seemed to make it work for the XP we gained there.

Only things I've found that I can't sleep with lullaby so far are those new undead-type mobs, which is weird since they're undead. They act really weird too...a lot of the time when we were fighting them they wouldn't attack for a minute or so, just stand there getting beat on.

The Mummies? As far as we found, they're totally immune to sleep. Really horrible enemies.

Anyone who regularly has steal probably knows that ghosts have cloths on them ripe for the picking. My guess is they have Karakul or maybe even Warmoura. I saw the Bhoot while getting staging points, but not the Guard Bhoot.

I'll go test this out later and update. Only reason I haven't tried yet is I was always solo/duo, and didn't feel like taking a dirt nap, but has anyone tried yet?
